Can somebody battle WT already...

if i had a team of tinks id take on tawent , take the loss on the chin nd play them every week til we got them down

My point is this bracket is too immature to do premades. The immaturity causes kids to think there is a lot at stake for losing a game. At 85 RBG's are very low-stakes. you win some, lose some, take it and queue again, no big deal.

19 premades feel like you're gambling your house and 85 feels like you're playing the quarter machine.

I agree with this point. There seems to be this notion that you are either the best or nothing and if you lose a premade there is no reason for you to be with the losing guild anymore. Thus we watch guild after guild disband and no one plays together for long enough to build the chemistry needed to improve and win.

Ciren, my words were only trolling insofar as the provocative language I used. The underlying message, as you seemed to agree with, is true.

WT is carried by heals and hunters GG WT is just your ordinary players who crutch on the most op class hunters and have pocket heals so Meh ....

Who would carry wt in premades then?
besides almost all of wpa followed me to wt
the guild is nomore

Wpa ain't dead we have just been reincarnated in the ret pally gaung / ninja banana hunters and like 3 wet napkins followed you

Pizza or those who might know,

Does anyone from CL still play?

Omg! Praelium! <3

At 19, no. I can't be sure about 85s though. ;(

How have you been Praelium? I miss Crushridge Legends so much and I'm sure you do too.

I've been good. I feel like Kujap stopped playing a while ago, and considering none of his characters have been on in a long time, probably true. I just leveled some guy to 85 because it gave me a free level 80 which was sweet. I logged into CL and it said I could take over as GM of CL because Atax hasn't been on in so long, I almost considered it, but decided against it. I played a few games on Cyclone, but was sad to see my Naxx Enchants are no longer. I wore them for old times sake anyways.

I'm impressed you've kept twinking after so long, it's hard to keep going when you don't have people more active at the max level.

But yea, CL was the shit, good memories playing for years with those guys. I guess I should just see if they're playing by asking em on Facebook or the like.

He didn't adapt with the times, whereas WT does.

Actually his promotion, M-1 Global, kept him from facing any real competition. His entire career they kept him in a position where he was against opponents they were sure he could beat. But he still managed to lose eventually even while dodging the rank 1s for a decade.

Still sounds remarkably like waw tawent lol.

Anyone who believed a fighter with no wrestling, jiu-jitsu, or boxing background was number 1 is a retard.

What rank 1 was he dodging in the early 2000s? Tim Sylvia? Ricco? Arlovski? l0l

Please refer back to wat I said

lawlz, don't want to make this into a fedor thread, but if you don't think that fedor was the #1 hw at one time (i'd say p4p as well), you crazy. he wasn't under m-1 global for his entire career (obviously), and during his time in PRIDE did fight the best in the world and destroyed many of them. dodging #1's? lawlz.

and finally, his background is entirely irrelevant, as a fighter's place in history is determined by their accomplishments, not by what sport they came to MMA from.

but i digress.

to make this semi-relevant; i wish there were some alliance guilds to counter all the horde guilds that run groups, because solo-queueing alliance is pretty brutal. but c'est la vie.

Some interesting games tonight, first time back in a few months. Looks like a lot of familiar faces switched things up (different races/classes/specs/realms). Hopefully the balance of power will be restored.

uhh he faught sylvia and arlovski in affliction (2008-2009)... Both fighters cut from the UFC for losing so much.

The only top ranked mma fighter he fought in their prime would have to be Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. And he won by a lame decision, twice.

I mentioned Arlovski and Sylvia as a question of which rank 1's he was supposedly dodging by fighting over in Japan for a good 5 years. Good to know you completely dodged that question, tho.

But yes Arlovski was totally cut for winning his last 3 fights in the UFC - hint: he left for a huge payday in Affliction, as did Tim.

You have really exposed your ignorance on this topic, so please educate yourself and then I'll be happy to discuss it further with you.

Arlovski did leave on good terms with the organization. But since his 4 or 5 fight loss streak Dana White has stated he would have to win several big fights before being even welcome back. As for Sylvia he was a champion when the bracket was pretty much non existant... and recently begged to be let back in the ufc, and offered to fight for free lol. www.mmafighting.com/ufc/2012/3/6/28...paign-for-ufc-comeback-dana-white-shuts-door7
