just some ideas that i have summarized from watching good players play.

1, you need to stack resil. aim for 700+. you don't need too much haste from gears, around 150~200 is good enough.

2, spec and glyph this way.

3, put Enchant Weapon - Black Magic on your weapon.

4, run BT repeatedly for The Skull of Gul'dan

5, put tazik on your gloves, if you don't have tazik, put Hyperspeed Acceleratorst or Synapse Springs on your gloves.

5, grab a good healer.

6, dot people up. when black magic procs, cast fear. when black is on ICD, use Hyperspeed Accelerators - Spell - World of Warcraft (if you have it) or The Skull of Gul'dan, cast fear. fear is better than sheep because it doesn't regenerate your opponent and it doesn't break on damage, it is the key to winning arenas.

It does break after a set amount of damage, but than again, is annoyingly spammable, to an extent.

Fear will break quickly, especially after 1-2 dot crits or 2-3 dot ticks. It's always been a staple for CC and getting kills in arena though.

Probably most valuable is getting Haunt off every CD to take some pressure off your healer and put pressure on your kill target.

Good advice Glance, thanks for that. I am thinking of making a Warlock purely based upon the advice given.

Not sure about Black magic though, I do not like relying on procs tbh. I would rather go with a static 81 spellpower as Locks' dots tick for a piss poor amount.

Regards.

Please do not, for the sake of all that is innocent and human in this world, take this guys advice.

Wouldn't use Black Magic really. Procs just aint reliable. Also destruction is the way to go. Burst is pretty much all that matters in this bracket, not saying that affli isn't viable though. Shadowfury can make miracles, also afflictions damage is rather easy to heal, you might be able to keep up decent pressure but it's just not enough not in 2s atleast. Also Affliction is really haste reliant spec, and unfortunately you're not able to gain 'high' haste levels as warlock without sacrifising resilience.
