Foreman's Gloves, a Different thread

5 expertise at such a low level is a GREAT increase. Imo very viable i don't mind loosing a few stats to gain expertise!

5 expertise is a sizable chunk, however it's not going to cap you. If you're the type of player that likes to see results, in recount i'm sure it will account for less dodges/parries, but you will still get dodged and parried. For that reason, I wouldn't go with expertise stacking unless I could actually hit 5% without sacrificing too much. It's just personal preference. I'm not going to notice a difference personally, i'll still be frustrated when dodges/parries occur.

Always remember to back attack targets, and targets who are spellcasting are i believe unable to parry (and possibly dodge.)

If you ask me these are more useful to most classes that do their damage out of stealth. Yeah these "are good rogue gloves" but if you ask me, the way rogues are today, you barely get a chance to gouge/bandage to full because now rogues are just: Shadow Step, ambush, white dmg dead before you can get off a 100 crit SS (very nerfed atm)

The only case I'd say Foremans are bis for rogues is in combat spec (don't laugh). Combat spec does about 170% the dmg that sub does out of stealth. In this case they would be a great boost to dps because, come on, how often does your ambush get dodged??

I'm thinking about using those over Thorbias Gauntlets on my Warrior, I realise it's quite the loss of strength but as a Warrior I'd just want to land as many blows as I possibly can before going down. Anyone who can tell me it's a bad idea by backing that statement up with some evidence?

You're a warrior, you're not a priority target in WSG due to low damage, so that + piercing howl should net you plenty of mobility to back attack targets nearly 100% of the time.

Warriors damage is no where near low. Don't compare everything to Hunters and Paladins.

i was about to say that, lol. warriors die easily due to lack of survivability, but if you go glasscannon fury warrior, you do way more dmg than you can believe..

Try [item]nimble leather gloves[/item] first, they're easy to get and should give you an idea of what improvements to expect from foremans.

Good call on testing with Nimble gloves.

You'll still see dodges in Recount even expertise capped, given Rogues popping Evasion.

If a rogue wanted to cap expertise, Foreman's and three of the Fang set would do the trick without gimping other stats too much. I don't know know for warriors tho.... Hey, how would expertise come into play for a feral Druid?

When you speak of expertise cap you are talking about the base dodge/parry percentage. Anyone with any +agi aill go over the 5% base dodge so PvP capping isn't possible against most players. Capping for PvE against equal lvl targets is only possible with foreman's, fang 3 set, and a racial bonus.
