How much are Darkweave Breeches currently worth on the twink market?

Hi there, I looted Darkweave Breeches from a chest in Arathi Highlands two days ago and I put them in the AH for 100G buyout. I was suprised to see that it got sold within 2 minutes so I was wondering whether it was a very rare item and I should have put a higher buyout price.

na they a constant AH item they sell for about 150-200g.

I wouldn't pay more than 150g because there are much better items for +crit and +hit currently available from quest rewards that I would rather use on a mage/lock/priest. With the current influx of paladins you might be able to sell them to a noob who uses cloth items. I Think a lot of the old twink gear is way overpriced these days if people actually did the new quests they would find out.

I've sold like 3 or 4 pairs in the last month for 500g each

Depends on the demand on your server. If you are on a non-ruin(US) or non-blackout(EU) they will probably be harder to move unless there is an emergence of new twinks. It could work both ways however because of the low population of twinks the few that are on your server may be forced to pay higher prices.

Sold about 5 to 7 since The Shattering release at 1,2k gold each. Lucky, nah, I think people want these and Idk why, are interested in paying large amount for those. Nowadays I'm selling them 500g and they're selling quite well and fast.

How can you have sold so many after the shattering? It's not like you can farm them, they are a random drop.

I kept them for a while. For example, I'm buying over 150 twink items on a low pop with no twink where these items sell cheap, Transfer and sell on a high twink populated server = High profit.

My server isn't particularly populated with twinks outside of our guild (i'd say there's maybe 10 floating around, casually q'ing for BG's once in a blue moon, usually undergeared.) Most of these people don't seem to know about Godfrey's Britches, and as such, these still sell fairly regularly.

I usually buy out any that I see and re-sell them at 300g. I've sold 2 recently (like, within the past month.)

How can a paid character transfer in order to sell a couple items considered high profit?

Couple items? He said around 150 items, that a lot, could easily be 50.000+gold, but yea, I would not pay 2x transfers for that.

Consider supply and demand.

Right now with twinks having being close to dying out for so long, and with a lot of the players being new since Wrath, most players don't have a clue what are twink items any more, so they either DE or equip a lot of BiS blues, and the supply is lower than it was when more people knew the value of the items.

Meanwhile with twinks coming back to the game, the demand is going up quite a bit, because more fresh twinks are being made.

That should mean the value of BiS BoEs should be higher at the moment, although it'll also depend on the server population, and the number of twinks on the server who are on the lookout for the items (both buyers and sellers).

Basically put them up for whatever you think someone will pay given what is showing up on the AH, and see if someone undercuts you.

new twinks who remeber seeing these back in the day on BiS twinks will pay for it any experienced twinker won't.

I'm actually not paying for 2 transfers, but only one, I make an alt, filled with 20+ slots bag, twink items in bank and bag and transfer it. Also, I'm often making about 35k+ from these transfer, so pretty worth it.

Definitely worth considering just how much gold 85s are rolling in compared to endgamers in TBC/vanilla when setting your prices ;)
