Sure if you run a main account booster or have someone boost you. Not a large percent of ftps were doing that though.

They really should just break gems at least in pvp until the last 10 levels of an expac.

If they bg'd any they would see its not though.

Currently leveling bgs you have people leveling WotLK profs and somehow creating gemmable gear in the 10-19 bracket and one shotting everyone.

SVs running around gemmed and just walking over entire teams.

I know they can do it with LW and Tailoring. Saw someone wearing crafted pvp gear fully enchanted and gemmed.

They go from lvl 14 to 23 to 32 to 41 to 48.

I dont know. That concept of wishfull thinking should be long gone. You adapt or you quit. Playing lvlers was always non competitive. F2p or Vet crybabys are probably the most hypocrite thing out there. Deal with 29s and be happy about the twink vs twink games you will get. Complaining puts you on exactly the same lvl that you think 29s are at…
 
Watching the alliance premades with heals just join a game with 4 horde that just afk is fun I guess. Fuck kids are dumb.

Yes. So now it probably takes like 5 min on the ah to make a 14-19 twink and destroy levelers. There are several per game now just farming gys.

Great job blizz.

All they had to do was something simple like cap secondaries and primary stats in leveling bgs so no matter how many gems you have or enchants popping off, you cap out at say 20% secondaries for all leveling and say like 120 primary from 10-19 150 primary 20-29 and so forth. All the way to the last 10 levels.

Would never have to worry about anything again.

I can imagine it would be the most simple thing to just create own bracket for lvl 20. No need to disable any gear/scale anything down, knowing blizz they would put the "," at the wrong place and we would see people with 200% haste instead of 20% and what you not, its best if they dont scale anything. Just give us our own bracket please

But it does feel like there’s a massive attachment to the “20s or bust” mentality with the vocal f2p proponents.

I mentioned the other day about adapting to the recent changes and how that’s on us to keep the only low-level twink bracket alive. I wasn’t saying that to bait 20s into getting crushed by 29s. And I didn’t realize people would take such a victimy interpretation.

I meant that if we want low-level instanced twink pvp to survive in the near and possibly distant future, then we need to adapt to what Bliz does. That’s just a reality.

Which, best case scenario, means that people suck it up and focus their ftp chars on satisfying achievement hunting/PvE goals while pvping with 25/27/29s to keep things competitive. Most f2p players have side subbed accounts anyway, right?

If enough people accepted this and adapted, then the bracket could work and BGs could keep rolling, potentially for the long term.

I get it that some f2ps just don’t want to bother. If you are truly attached to f2p and just want to vent frustrations about Bliz’s changes and the apparently terrible people that are willing to adapt to them, then go for it.

But if you are flexible and truly care more about enjoying low-level pvp than your attachment to f2p vanity, then why not just use your side subbed account(s) and play some 25/27/29s to help keep the bracket alive?

Yes, burst is bigger than the already janky bracket we just had. And the OP classes will come out even stronger. But it’s still the only option we have in front of us, and it’s not *that* bad in comparison. For one, we have more kitted and viable specs to play around with now than we did at 20.

Everyone was excited for new talents and changes in DF anyway. And it looks like the OP classes were set to stay OP, regardless.

In the end, I don’t get why people cling so strongly to bitching about and resisting something we can’t change. Especially when it revolves around attacks focused on tearing down the people who are open to adaptation.

It’s pretty gross to see shit written like “everyone who plays a 29 is a bad person” and “29s only play to dominate 20s”.

Get over yourself, realize that f2p is not the center of the universe (especially to bliz), and accept that working with these abrupt and unfortunate changes in an effort to keep pvp alive isn’t some terribly shame worthy thing. People just want to carry on and BG.

On the topic of the post, EU, alliance, peak hours (5-8 P.M.), 30 min queue no pop, I gave up after that.
Also Gshire is full of old (new) 29 twinks in AH gear sending duel request to every 20 with the intent to "Test damage" or "Test" (guys there is a lil addon called details... get it and go test your stuff on some stormwind dummy, you dummies).
Also also, I'd say 7 out of 10 people from the guild were logged on 29 twinks and gearing them. They wanna stay competitive, I get it... but all I see is weathercocks in the blizzard's wind.

Yeah you wrote with your soul, I give you that, but I'll still see that wolf with a sheep mask on, telling people to be mature and stop bitching, meanwhile 20s are getting stomped in instanced PvP, in this healthy bracket you wish for.

I wont talk mad shit and cry too much (even tho you might say I already am - I am just presenting my opinion and giving some facts, that some agree with and some don't). I am pretty new to twinking. I did it every now and then throughout the expansions, without even knowing it was a thing. So I am not clinging with my life to this dear bracket I found enjoyable in the past year. It's just that I cringe when I see people fighting for a "healthy bracket", with characters pulled out from the closet last week or so , still a lil bit dusty.

Just say it as it is and it would be 10x better, for ex: "Y'all should stop bitching and start q-ing so we can get some games"

I mean, we’re a week into this. If a 20 wants to queue into higher level twinks right now, that’s on them.

Like I emphasized in my last post: if you want to thrive in today's 20-29 PvP, then accept that you need to make a char that can.

It's a similar scenario to what savvy levelers went through queueing 20-29 before the merge. They knew there was a high chance they’d get crushed by 20s in PvP, so they chose to either risk being fodder in BGs or PvE their way through 20-29.

Now, 20s have the unenviable choice of focusing on PvE, making a higher level in the bracket to BG with, or being stripped vulnerable in PvP like all the levelers they picked apart prior.

It's a hard fall from the top, and it's easy to blame the 2x twinks. But it's Blizzard's architecture that abruptly swapped levelers for 20s into the low-caliber end of the bracket.

When all is said and done people aren’t playing 29s to have a “competitive” battleground experience otherwise the 29 community would have already been thriving.

Maybe things change, maybe they dont. I dont really care. Ive spent alot of time on my 20s but most of them are a decade old or more at this point. And ive had my fun with them, I dont mind them collecting dust from now on, not like theyd be the first twinks i retire. If they bring back 20s or wargames pop up good, if not im gone.

As the owner if a 20s community the issue is:
Without levelers in bgs we have no pool of new players to recruit more twinks from. I'm sure not going to try to recruit out of Trade chat .It is also incredibly boring playing the same team all day long. This change is effectively cutting off our supply of players to recruit for new Twinks.
