actually they are not half brained. they knew they have more abilitys and a more talents fesh air when it comes to gearing... this is frustrating for F2P but imagine hating people because they prefer 29s instead of 20s Why not? i prefer to have stormbolt or a second charge as warrior

the mentality of some twinks here is insane basically "cripple yourself or suck my balls" :kekD:

Same. I like 20s because I can play them on a lapsed sub once I get tired of end game.

I love all my twinks, but that doesn't mean I have to PvP on them. If BGs aren't fun I won't do them. It's not like 20s are starved for content since the level squish. Why would I pay for bad queue times on a 29 when I can get bad queue times on a 20 for free?

Well for some that's what twinking is all about, make the most out of the least that is offered...
Yeah, one can pay a sub to play a x9 bracket (29 let's say), but "crippling" yourself by not buying a sub and not being able to do a lot of stuff in-game is rewarding in a unique way.

I didn’t say they ruined it, I said you could say they did theoretically… you could make a case that they did and here is the case…

With the huge spike in queue population caused by F2P, it pulled hundreds of twinks from other much less populated brackets into the 20 scene. Twinks just want to play and have 3-5 min queue pops as you stated in Cigs video. The population boom of 20’s caused significant decline in other brackets leaving no choice for twink pvp fanatics other than to join in on the F2P or basically go full PvE… for me I’ve only been doing PvE twinking and I miss the pvp aspect of it. The integration of 29’s is a welcome back to players like me and believe me if I could play my 10’s or 19’s in PvP I wouldn’t bat an eye at the 20-29 bracket. It’s not the bracket I want to play in but it’s the bracket I’ve been handed. The animosity towards an individual or individuals that are excited to rejoin the PvP scene, is misguided and I will continue to say that. Advocate for changes like bracket rearrangements 10-20, 21-30, etc… F2P should be the max level of a specific bracket not the bottom. I believe it could potentially discourage new people from the game all together if they just start playing and get rolled by 29’s. It may convince some players to buy the game though so only time will tell the effect it has on new players.

Anyways, we’re simply never going to agree. I’d prefer to remain civil and avoid throwing around insults over something as arbitrary as low level PvP. Hope we find other topics in the future to converse about. Enjoyed the video with you and Cig. Have a good one, mate!

F2p players who doesn't want to pay are completely understandable, but shitting on players who already payed (because of endgame stuff) and making 29s instead of 20s is kinda cringe tbh. this is what i mean by "cripple yourself or suck my balls" they want you to make a 20 as a paying customer. before the change xpoff brackets are completely dead on every x9. and now have non f2p or vet acc also a chance to play bg's without leveling out at some point. on the other hand twinks who are only subbing right now for 29s twinks and nothing else are indeed cringe i agree at this point.

Its not an opinion that we can agree to disagree on. Its a fact. The decline of other brackets most recently happened in 8.1.5 when blizzard re-segregated the ques. Plenty of brackets were bumpin back then, especially 39s with lolasmongold decided to mine the forums for content.

F2P/Vets were still seen as fringe twinks even that recently and it was only after blizz pulled the plug on merged ques and brackets died that people came looking to vets. The popularity you see among vets currently is *extremely* new and in no small part because people who had been playing 20s put enormous effort into lowering the barrier to entry for as many refugees from other brackets as possible.

Other brackets died before we got popular and our popularity did not "just happen". It took extraordinary effort and coordination.

Im not throwing insults at you. I know both Goesid and I are grumpy old men, but lets not lump us together. He's far wiser and I'm quite a bit prettier.

Fully agree, but this will be my last comment on this thread. Not worth it. It’s worse than a Republican and Democrat having a debate lol no one agrees or finds common ground and it reverts to insults. I’m just gonna make my 29 and enjoy myself
 
mmm i'm usually with chops but idk on this one.
i'dve rather'n been doin like the equiv of old 39-49s all these years if it were an option to get pops.
20s are where i was and not somewhere so i guess i'm one such person.

That would be super cool then you could just play at what ever lvl, that being said lvls with socket gear will still have an edge over lvls without. need to nerf socket gear at lower levels before they can do something like this I think.

I don't have very much sympathy for a 20 vet hunter lol but other classes will have a way harder time at 20 for sure.

I would think that some people are actually subbed for endgame or whatever else they do and it's "easier" for them to just have a 29 on that account. Get runs, trade runs, whatever.... why would they gimp themselves when they can be top of bracket?

Saying that they arent subbed just to be 29.... it's quite literally terrible sense to make a whole new gimped account to do something they are already paying and have advantage. Unless you understand the whole f2play community thing, wtf would one care?

Well that part of my post was a joke.

My point was that I only play my 20s when I don't have an active subscription. It wasn't meant to be a generalization of the community.

I usually play the first month or two of an expansions before I get fatigued and unsub. In my case there's no reason for me to make a 29 because I can't play it. My 20s are staying gimped out of necessity so I can still enjoy them. The draws of 29s don't outweigh that level of accessibility

I get it... and it may sound harsh to the tender ears around here, but I have zero compassion for someone complaining about the free experience. It's free. No matter how much you may spend aside from it.... it's not a subscription-based activity, and ANYONE paying a sub and acting within that subscription's allowance has every right to infringe on what you WANT your free experience to be. However and whenever Blizz swings the pay2play experience in that direction. F2play has always been a TRIAL-BASED scenario meant to allow people to try out the game in hopes of getting some subs. Yes, they expanded it and gave the appearance of a free-standing experience but it still is subject to change without cause or apology however that intention is deemed to benefit that goal.

So TL;DR.... tough titties, kids. Sorry your non-subscription activity isnt everything you demand it to be at the moment. :FrogeConcern:

yeah, sl 20s were, but the effect was true for me even when they were more like old 19s.
or even (bleeechhh) templated.

these 29s, all you need to do is to freeze their exp, and queue and you can get into the bg now right ? at the same q time like a 20 ?

Unsubbed 20s are now considered XP locked. So yeah, if your 29 has locked XP you'll be in the same queue as them
