I don't know why one would level their current 20's and "destroy" them. Super easy to level a new 29 on a different (paying
) account. Maybe a Blizz number cruncher saw vets as an untapped revenue stream. We probably would add over a million dollars a year in subs, tokens, game services, and more hooks into higher level content to stay subbed.TBH, I think pre-Dragonflight spells/talent additions for L29's makes more classes viable instead of the hunter stink fest it is today. I'd love to see @Supäcow with a full kit rather than the very limited L20 resto druid. I miss Lifebloom, Leather Specialization, Ysera's Gift, Ursol's Vortex, L25 talent choice, and Barkskin. A L29 mistweaver or resto shaman with an expanded kit makes for a fairer fight against a team of hunters. They also are missing a ton of their healing/survivabilty/utility stuck at L20.

all them 24/7 pre mades of hunter - healers did this.
We had a good thing, all that had to happen was not over fish the waters but like the CCP you could'nt help yourself and sent out your fishing fleets of pre mades.

For the record though, Feral is essentially just a bite machine. My 29 in Sunwell gear has next to no mastery, about the same attack power with more health.
So I will just die to 4 raptor strikes instead of 3.
My 20 dose bigger bites but my 29 allows for a better playstyle, I am not going to re-gear I just want to play my 70 and for feral that just puts it in a similar situation that a lot of other 20 class' have just taken their toolkit for granted.
Myself and people like me are not going to be the problem, its the re-rollers that will fully gear OP class (Hunter, Mage, S/priest War etc) with the 'maximize strongest' mentality using stun mace so on and so forth.
I expect my 29 Feral to be on par with the High B - Low A tier 20s and not even close still to S tier 20s and get destroyed by any other 29 reRoLleR.

Let's be real the vast majority of twinks are in it just to crush levelers, then complain that levelers are the reason why bgs suck. They will also be the first to reroll 29 hunters.
Like I plan on making a 29 rogue so I can't judge to much. 29 sub is really nice to play, very enjoyable

Dealt with them today and could actually beat them in 1v1 without using mine.
All-in-all... Not the terrible experience that I expected.
Granted the was only one guy using them per bg.

I like how people just don't realize how in line this is with everything else they have done to change low level pvp, in the past. This is essentially a game system change that went live to achieve some end goal of theirs. Something to do with metrics and internal consistency that wasn't being met before.
If I looked at numbers, saw a growing number of players just no longer paying a sub fee, instead playing on trial accounts, while also facing the lowest number of concurrent players since vanilla, I would also be doing something like this.

don't have the wisdom to open up new avenues for playstyle and maybe new streams of revenue in the future, gotta keep em on the rails that we built because the economic model we planned out depends on it.
