10.0 Predictions/Discussion

The more I think about it, the more pissed off I get.
There is an incredible, established World, full of interesting adversaries & stories ot explore. There is NO shortage of abandoned content & the desolate zones there within, that could have been the focus of a low-key 'everyone chill while we fix this' patch series or xPac. Instead:
" WHat can we go out-there with...? "
"urhh... How bout Dragons?! Yeah! They want a down-to-Earth xPac, right? Let's do Dragons! "
so... we get Lizard Faries & a whole new 'distant land' that less expands the game than it does diverge farther away from what made it great.

To me, it's like when Disney bought SW, ignored decades of amazing EU content & Shat forth 3 unbelivibad films featuring a Super-Mary-Sue with the personality of a Furbee, instead of offering up glossy versions of beloved & impactful tales from said EU.
The fuckwits that are at the helm of WoW will invariably sail out into the doldrums, starving slowly patch by patch; or outright scuttle it, full-sail into a shoall, & then blame us for not liking it.[/QUOTE]

mythic swag > heroic swag > normal swag > regular/daily swag > store swag

wouldn't be surprised if they do that, but I wouldn't be surprised it'll be looked down on mount offs.
 
Wish they didn't do those nerfs in like patch 7.3.5 in legion with 10 twinks and crap, and did those level nerfs. :/

My brain initially ignored it but now I'm hyped just thinking about Colossus Smash being "empowered" and its dmg increased is based on how long you channel it. 5% if you just hit it, maybe 50% if you can hold it for 4 seconds, so you end up having to time it with a HOJ or something to make sure it hits. Or like... Bladestorm does more and more dmg, but you move slower and slower.

Very cool mechanic and one that will lead (i hope) to some very dynamic and visceral gameplay.

Only thing I’m worried about…….
Eating a 10sec Aimed Shot which can down a Raid Boss….
 
I wouldn't get too excited about the talent mix up we are getting. Pretty sure we will only be able to select one. And I got a feeling it won't be that great as previously those talents usually included something small and basic.

They stated in the reveal that you'd start with multiple points "to get you started"

Now obviously, this is early on and all subject to change but I wouldnt be shocked to see us get anywhere from 10-20 points
 
Hopefully Blizz just fixes all of the overlooked broken items faster than a year this time and it all won't really matter.

There is 100% gonna be some sword you get out of a dragon's butt-hole on day one that does 1000% normal damage that gets removed, but not patched... then we will have to watch retards fuck up whatever the bracket will be for a year or so before blizz patches it and read xpoff stupid-as-fuck comments justifying it.

If its just a month or so where somebody gets the item and they can look cool to their other low-brow-buddies... sure, no big deal... but, a year watching clowns ruin things is just too much.

Cant wait for Korrak's to see twinks in Mythic Jailer loot cuz blizz will miss on adding the lvl restriction

I get that there are so many items now its hard to catch it all... it's just how long it takes... we had to watch that crap for a year+ last time.
 
A bigger problem than it being possible is the gleeful maliciousness with which people look to exploit this stuff. Sure, Blizzard should realize by now that everything should come with a req level, even if they *think* its unobtainable. But more to the point, people should show some restraint.

The responsibility ultimately lies with the End User. But admitting that would require accepting a level of personal responsibility very few twinks seem to understand or are willing to accept.
