Need some guidance! <3

Hey, for a few days now ive been looking more and more in to lvl 20 twinking. Problem is my ADHD... i dont know what class to pick.. Obviously i want to play a class thats viable (better then other) But dont have to play the meta..

So, what classes are good? and what classes are good when you play alot solo?

Best regards, Majo

As said here many times. Play the class you like. I just made a new f2p rogue and I love it.
There are may guides here, just read them and decide.

Play a couple, dont get stuck with only one option. Both factions too, sometimes you just dont wanna be only one.

edit- I will always say warrior cuz it's fun and easy to gear "OK" if you arent hardcore, also happen to be pretty OP right now.... as long as you're talking Vet and can use AH/mail to get yourself gems and crusader ecnhants.

If you're not getting any help from a main account I'd say druid cus it's very capable solo PvE and has options PvP, gearing totally by yourself f2p is pretty difficult I'm finding out... SO nice just running/mailing gear from a main.

I've heard that warlock does decent with clearing dungeons solo, which you'll need to do in order to get the socket TBC gear which is probably close to BIS as F2P.

Other classes might have a much more difficult time solo as pure F2P. Warriors and a few melee classes can steam roll dungeons once they have crusader... But getting it as F2P might be more tricky. Best of luck!

WL can also hit pretty hard in BGs too. I'm gonna try one ;)

Don’t get started - it’s a slide you can’t stop:FrogeConcern:

Need more DPS specs that can off heal... and people that will actually off heal with them. That is always a plus.

2 avoid rolling alts
id suggest focusing on fun mechanics over high performance

for example
this is a personal stance
but i think ele sham is da beez kneez
when compared 2 other classes in the fun department
they dont hav the largest toolkit
but wuteva they do hav
seems 2b vry useful 4 any given situation
each ability has a noticeable impact

another point
if variety of playstyles is ur goal
try a class that can offer multiple playstyles
which is pretty much any class with a healing spec

The big question is. Do you plan on being a Vet or a pure F2P? Like they said above, Warlocks, mages, priest, hunters are all great classes atm. I personally play Ele and there single target burst damage is insane, along with there class toolkit. But it’s hard to be top damage over the whole lobby. That being said, that means nothing anymore anyways. It use to be important to me. But with how hard hunters hit and seeing people beat on healers and sader Warriors to be top DPS is laughable

I started off twinking on my hunter/lock and moved to my shadow priest & warrior more so recently. Shadow is alot of fun to play it never gets boring for me. If I feel like Healing I'll hop on my Resto Shaman. Honestly all of the classes/specs are alot of fun to play, just have to find the ones you like.

Just wanted to second this

The cool thing about 20s is once you've put in the farming time to get ilvl 28s on you first toon, you probably also have a pretty decent collection of ilvl 28s for a number of other toons, so you can make a bunch of different classes and just hop around finding one you like without much trouble or loss of time.

I just started this 20 twink deal a month ago and class is the last thing I needed to worry about. There is so much research, tools, rules (about what's available & isn't), guides and stuff to learn it's ridiculous. Keep reading and focusing on making some type of a plan for gear THEN pick your class IMO.

May I suggest trying one of the DPS only classes first... In order of armor proficiency: DK, Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Mage & Warlock.

I started with all of them, then made all the healing classes. Now i rotate between what's flavor of the month and OP.

*Don't use the same name for all your chars like I did, i really really really regret it*
