Feast of Winter Veil anything for us apart from the new Toy on Christmas?

And how do I get one of those hats?
edit 2: is there only that drop hat from the nexus? (quote from wowhead: Still 100% drop as of 12-16-21 Occulus (3rd Boss) for Green and Nexus (2nd Boss) for Red *MUST BE HEROIC*)
Any other Hat? a Crafted one or something?

Edit: oh yea, new toy. the Wintersweater once had an on use, which is now a Toy... and uhm...

You have high res versions of the red hats from the two BFA dungeons you can queue for. I'm going to assume that you can also get hat drops off of any bosses when you walk into a dungeon and solo them yourself, but that obviously depends on your being able to walk in and solo the place. Otherwise, you'll just have to slaughter oodles of humanoid open world mobs and cross your fingers.

Got the red hat off Vol'kaal while queuing Atal Dazar on an alli rouge. (Finely-Tailored Red Holiday Hat). Also got the green one, no idea how.
 
I have got the new red one twice in 4 runs of Atal Dazar from the boss Vol'kaal, he is even wearing a tiny christmas hat....my friend has also received 2 in the same runs...so it seems to drop from him frequently ...too bad they are not tradeable

and jfyi I couldn't even find the old xmas Quest for the green gifts, just a quest for a blue gift starting at 30. So I made research BEFORE posting here!

I guess it's possible you aren't aware so check this out.

Wowhead.com is a vast, expansive and almost entirely comprehensive database for world of Warcraft.

They maintain a full list of resources, including breakdowns of all the holiday events with relevant quests, rewards and achievements fully spelled out.

You'd do well to check out their hub for the Christmas event, which can be located under their "database > world events" tab.
