20s behavior in dungeons

Out of my 1000+ Rezan runs from Feb - present:

id say that approx 60% of the runs I did the entire group outside of me wiped when they aggroed all the dinos in mid trying to figure out where I went.

….then I left

….my Karma? No speed/socket rezan ring.

Oh no you STILL don't have that ring? :(

It's basically the equivilant of leaving the group circle jerk the moment you cum.

"You're not wrong Walter, you're just an asshole."
-The Dude

As corny as it sounds, when I played my twink characters I did my best to try and not be a stereotype when grouping with others, which includes not bailing on groups early and not pulling everything before the tank. Not only does it help deter unwanted negative attention from igorant players eager to report what they don't understand, its also an opportunity to find like minded players who are curious about why you are so stong.

Using the poor behaviour of others to justify your own selfish playstyle is an incredibly immature and weak argument regardless of what game you play.

Because let's be clear, you can try and justify it to yourself however you want, leaving a random dungeon mid-run intentionally IS toxic and shitty.

This therad makes me want to shave off my neckbeard... 47cm of it... or maby i sell my granpas fedora.
[doublepost=1633721475,1633721222][/doublepost]Everyone with small dick leave dungeon before last boss.

I leave after I have done the bosses I am going to do. I didn't used to, and usually I will tell the group I am going to/ wish them luck afterwards (try to be as nice about it as I can while still just doing the thing i want to.) The thing is, I know its a little shitty but when I have to do a dungeon 50+ times or more for tert/socket drops those "oh its only 5 more minutes" are pretty significant. Sorry, I am not going to spend 4-5 more hours of farming to be polite, and I think that is a fairly reasonable stance to to take.

have you tried running freehold for the ring? no way.

on my to do list, after i get the most of the time left on my ptp account before it runs out. kind of farming some legion items in raids right now.

edit: by the way, total runs on my main account is about a dozen or so attempts on my tanks.

well leveling groups skip that boss and ring boss so youre out of luck. youll have to solo it or bring a friend.

when you know about the event(s) that needs to take place in that small area between the end of the bridge and the outdoor restaurant. it's pretty easy to unlock if you tank and clear all the mobs in said area.

This has nothing to do with '20s behavior'. I have seen levelers leave groups after wipes or arguments with other party members hundreds of times. After all, it is just a game, not a job or some social duty, where you should feel bad or immoral for abandoning 4 random players for the sake of your own good. If you are not enjoying yourself, you should never feel obliged to do something. Especially when it comes at the expense of your own happiness and mental well-being. Doing the same thing over and over is never healthy. Levelers do RDF for quick xp, whereas we do it for a specific piece of gear. Levelers gain something from every RDF run, whereas we gain something only when a specific item from a specific dungeon/boss drops. I see nothing wrong in looking after yourself and rushing the annoying part of the proccess to properly enjoy the game and play it like you intend to when you think of 'FUN'.

Imagine wiping 2021. As tank i run, others follow or leave. Their choise. 10 and 20. I can solo.

You probably haven't farmed much Atal'Dazar. Randoms wipe every second run by mass pulling skeletal raptors and/or getting feared 3 times in a row.

Not every class is capable of soloing, even when properly geared. Some bosses have mechanics that are rather simple but will result in a wipe if ignored. I also tend to queue as a tank whenever possible to control the pace. In any case, 9 times out of 10 you're better off leaving than arguing and wasting even more time.

Can vouch about the Atal’Dazar dungeon with wipes. Although I would say I wiped more from the combination of pterodactyls and the hunter up-top.

just a notes for new people doing that dungeon:

pull mob packs one at a time

silence the pterodactyls

don’t skip the hunter when you’re on that bridge

Nice topic!
Nowadays everything is being held in Discord. Why do we even need dungeon finder for gearing? One can simply ask a friend to team up for some dungeons while chilling in voice channel. 2x20s run dungeons manually much faster than waiting for a proc every time...

We use BfA dungeon finder to find some fresh pure f2ps that haven't got access to chromie time and help them.

Fully agreed with people above who said that kicking someone you just don't like (i.e. 'kick this twink he pulled a boss that everyone usually skips') is much more toxic than leaving a group that you don't like by your own.

-just an opinion from ru/eu twink nobody cares about
