20 WW Monk - Did anyone test BiS enchant(s) & weapon(s)?

Hey guys,

As the title says, this is a question for Windwalker Monks only.
I came back to WoW after a while and I am not really sure which enchant(s) for our new weapon(s) is/are BiS in Battlegrounds. I am running a 2h weapon now that the artifacts have been nerfed, and I do not have the enchant(s) ready in my bags since I am unsure which to go for.

I am guessing we go for either 12 agi (which is 17 agi in BGs) or 3 weapon damage (which is 4 weapon damage in BGs). Now, outside of BGs, I am pretty sure wep dmg is always the best, but does anyone know how the enchant is in the BGs? Has anyone tested/noticed the damage difference? I am aware that the wep dmg enchant is really good for ferals, but how is it for other classes (monk specifically)?

Also, I am currently using the polearm with 13 mast on it (trying to get Gnarled Ash Staff (with 17 versa on it), but I am pretty unlucky...), but I have heard that the Gnarled Ash Staff is better/bis/deals more damage - is this true?

I've seen a lot of WWs (on xpoff armory) go for two 1h weapons, but I am pretty sure we want to go for 2h weapons now (let me know if I am wrong) - what's up with that?

I’ll be a little sad if we move to 2handers though cause I found a sweet 1handed gf weapon just the other day..

Yeah it's going to be a little weird wielding a 2h weapon as a Windwalker, but if it's bis I guess we'll have to take it... :'D
Which GF 1h weapon you have? Do you have a link to your armory? There are so few WW monks on the Xpoff armory, I'd love to see more!

Oh wow, I wasn't aware that we could use that enchant on our lvl 20s :eek:
Do you have a screenshot (or anything really) that shows the damage it deals?
Also, did you test out the 4 weapon damage on your main hand? I remember I had it when artifacts were bis and it increased my damage by a ton...
 
I might just have to farm myself up that bad boy :3
I’ve just come back to wow after a year or so, so my sub is still up and I’m still farming my monks gear up, none is equipped yet because I dunno if I wanna reroll for epic rolls yet or not. Seeing how much time end up with after I’m finished farming boes and profession mats hey!

Yeah definitely farm it up, it's a b*ch but it is what it is... You can also check if you can snatch some out of AH on some random realms, the Gnarled Ash Staff can be pretty cheap. The polearm I wear is 100% loot so good luck on getting it epic!

The weapon looks sick, shame I don't have it to test it out, let me know how you feel about it once you're fully done with your monk!
 
Epic mok/cudgel Mh with a blackout or claw of the watcher offhand.
Weapondamage enchant on MH and ele force offhand.

That's what I would roll as a ww monk but I am also not 100% sure if the function the same way as rogues do when it comes to calculating damage. I am like 90% sure they do though but you never know.

Hmm, that is interesting. I might try it out - could be that the damage calculation is the same. What weapon is MOK though? :eek:
Blackout does sound cool offhand, that haste might come in handy...

Keeeeen, hah. Means my dreams of gearing for two specs are more of a reality.. only wanna roll one twink this time round and have limited time to farm, so yay, I don’t have to farm as many boe and I get to be a great nuisance /cackles

but I’m sad I won’t get much use out of my gfd heavens light :(
