Is seventyupgrades not giving you enough info? It's a perfect place to check scaling and whatnot.
Was mostly just not sure if the numbers were right on the site, since i noticed that the default preset was different then the numbers i saw on your links.

The default preset? Are you talking about the EP presets on Seventyupgrades? If so those are just stat weights used for recommending gear. You definitely cannot tweak the built in scaling formulas which are to my knowledge accurate relative to tbc beta.

Ah, i'm just stupide then lol.

How much more viable is Ret in TBC vs classic? Trying to decide between that and warrior.

Depends what you mean by viable and what you want do. Can you have a noticeable impact in pug BGs? Yes. Are you an auto lock in wargames? Unlikely.

Ret will be better in tbc than it is in classic but will still suffer from many of the same shortcomings. The nice thing about pala is that you can situationally throw on plus healing gear and heal pretty effectively. Imo if you choose ret, make sure you try it out first with a lesser weapon before you commit a POD tho.

Thanks, as always, for putting in the work. Do 19/9 Revelosh gloves exist? I thought they did but its been ages since BC and so far in Classic ive killed him 75 times or so and only seen 8/9s and 8/8s. People on discord were saying the 9/9s dont exist.
Well ya sorta. I got something better today 11/21 Monkey after 9 runs.

And yes DMH drops. Got it after 22 runs. You can afk at the beginning of the instance. Boosted a 58 rogue to farm it.

Anyone know if those Lady Falther'ess pieces will ever be available again? Also, what are the best alternatives for those pieces on a lock assuming I cannot obtain them?

I believe they just run 14 shadow power cloak and 7 shadow power wand.

If Blizzard does release a WotLK server and if they have the scourge invasion prepatch prior to release like before, I believe she will return for that limited time only.

Isn't WoWLK going to kill twinking with BG XP gains?

I guess that depends on how one looks at twinking I suppose. Twinking did not die when xp was added to BGs the first time around. Twinking still exists today in retail. However, that could be a discussion for another thread.

I was more or less just focused on the question of if the lady would return, and the answer is yes, but for a limited time during the scourge invasion that setup going to Northrend.

im sorry but those druid builds are so awful it actually triggered me into making some actual bis lists! :KKomrade:

feral: https://seventyupgrades.com/set/fU4Gxco6rXKegWmj97sCNK
swap to mograine's might with +35 agility after using the mana from the intellect weapon

boomkin: https://seventyupgrades.com/set/vww9phWacbgAFAYpsTHnt6
if you didnt get the neck and cloak while you could the next best items are the battle healer's cloak and pulsating crystalline hard/glowing eye of mordresh. swap to staff of jordan with +40 spellpower enchant after having spent the mana from the int wep

flag carrier: https://seventyupgrades.com/set/pDELyZHk8f7X5yo8D2jyut
equip hand of righteousness with +81 healing after spending mana from int wep. theres a +19 BoE stam chest you can enchant with +150 hp to equip when facing teams with no melees.

all the best!

Erm... Thanks? You don't even have Feral Charge in your FC build. Do you know how this works? FYI Everyone should obviously have things like Rocket Helm and Skull in the pocket but the lists are setup to show BiS when things are on CD. Deadman's wasn't supposed to come out until Phase 2 so that's why it's not in any of the builds (I will rectify).

haha, i didnt mean to be rude bro :D
it's not written in stone that fc druids should run feral charge, a full resto build is better in my opinion, but i guess it comes down to playstyle. and to be fair feral charge can be hella OP also, but i still feel running NS is better in pugs atleast :)

These builds have to be competitive in a wargame environment, and I have yet to meet an FC who would enter a wargame without Feral Charge. I've fought with and against the very best around and simply put, it's THE move to get through almost every ultra-sticky situation and it's CD is fantastically short. I appreciate your perspective though, and will put together a NS FC build for the list.

Gearing wise, I'd say Druids are among the most flexible classes and there are many ways to be viable. My boomkin build for instance has very high healing because imo that's the most effective way to play it, but it's fair to say someone with a super glass build will probably be a better pug stomper. Either way there isn't much call for a boomkin in premades though so I don't worry too much about specs like that.

In general I believe that chasing the definitive BiS list is a futile endeavour for 39s and arguably twinking as a whole (for the classic expansions anyways) since there are a lot of side- and not that many upgrades.
Ultimatively it boils down a lot to preference and/or playstyle.

That's not to say that this thread is pointless (quite far from it actually), it's a great resource for newcomers.

100% agree I've argued many times BiS is subjective and preface the list by saying it's not definitive. Maybe I should add some more detail to make sure folks remember to think for themselves :]
