Imagine holding moderators to the same standards as your average poster. If my post using the word cocksucker gets removed but your quote of it doesn't seem like bias in this site still exists, big surprise ain't it buddy.
If you have concerns about the moderation of your post, you can take them up with the moderator who deleted it.

I understand youre mad at me because you took a big ol' swing and just... lol what a whiff. But lets not get off topic here.

If I have concerns about the moderation of the site, Ill talk to anyone but you about it.

I understand you got a boner when I misquote you and gave you the attention you didn't deserve and you just took that big ol' hit of dopamine, lol what a tool. But lets continue commenting about the off-topic comment to make ourselves look better in front of the crowd.

I do hope that more comes to the specific Activision Blizzard employees that are responsible for this suit though. It's a shame there isn't actual criminal charges (not just monetary compensation) that have been levied against them.

I do hope too that there will be real consequences and not just words without actions. We'll see.

I'm not really a law knower (and I havent done more than make a cursory glance at a couple AP articles), but I would imagine individual criminal charges arent the purview of the Fair Housing/Employment Administration and that the DA may either be conducting their own investigation and/or waiting for this case to wrap up in order to add some weight to their own?

Or maybe they just didnt feel like they had the body of evidence to prove individual cases but could sue on more general grounds of allowing this atmosphere to exist so they felt this was the best way to get restitution for the victims?

something Befehlsnotstand something

I do wish this was the case
*puts finger on nose*

Not it!

But seriously, this thread went to hell pretty fast. Which is really sad, because this shouldn't at all be controversial, now should it? Serious allegations were made, which entirely suck. It's also, unfortunately, not all that surprising. My hope in these situations is generally quite simple: I hope the entire truth comes out, and anyone guilty is rightly punished. Ezpz.

They'll settle before we ever get the full truth. This entire situation is nothing new in the work force. Been going on since the early 70s. It's disgusting - for both sexes.

If his unpleasant wounding has in some way enlightened the rest of you as to the grim finish beneath the glossy veneer of criminal life and inspired you to change your ways, then his injuries carry with it an inherent nobility, and a supreme glory. We should all be so fortunate. You say poor Toby? I say poor us.

Alas that'd be as likely as finding the solution to 1/x = 0.
Unfortunately so.

I guess that's why I had to word it that I "hoped" the entire truth would come out. "sigh"

The standard "not all men" card. How about you get mad about the sexual harassments instead? You're not even addressing it. And stop making up excuses and act like someone did this for fame. It's https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Department_of_Fair_Employment_and_Housing who are suing them after a 2 year investigation.

2 years investigation. Let that sink in.
+ someone actually committed suicide over them spreading nudes of their co-worker.

Sexual harassment in the workplace isn't politics, it's an encroachment upon basic human rights

The standard "not all men" card. [...]

So you're honestly telling me that it's okay to label entire groups by the actions of certain individuals? This is literally how propaganda works by the way.

Sexual harassment in the workplace isn't politics, it's an encroachment upon basic human rights

And while you're saying the case is not political, your statement literally made it political. You could have kept on point, but you didn't. I don't care if you're "angry", it's not a free pass on getting called out. I can also give you a big reason as to why I chose to call it out.

How about you get mad about the sexual harassments instead? You're not even addressing it.

And about addressing the issue, not only have I been unsubbed from wow for a long time (over 2 years now), but I haven't touched a single Blizzard/Activision game in AGES.

I don't condone sexual harassment whatsoever, but if I am serious about doing a difference, it won't be through this forum.

I have been playing blizzard games since I was 8 years old ( 30 now) there games have been a pretty big part of my life. This news is pretty disappointing but not surprising.

The lady doth protest too much methinks.

Yeah, like years ago. Random shit made up. Hamlet bids you adieu....
