What mount do you use in PVP?

was going to ask in a new thread whats the smallest possible size .. noggen and seesaw .. same for me, want to be as invisible as possible .. my common mounts are the brown or black riding goat, small footprint and as cheapo as possible in bgs

I used noggenfogger always(the smaller thingy really helps espcially pre WOD era when a lot of ppl didnt even have nameplates on and trees had no LoS so u could literally hide in a tree and tab dot the whole team wthout being seen it was super satisfying to snapshot ur stuff with a trinket and then use Spectral Guise(godly priest talent that made a targetable clone of yourself while you vanished and then swap trinkets for even more deeps)

Also then there was this thing called Aqua Jewel and Ai-Li Skymirror which would literally make you almost translucent and pretty much "invisible" and that +noggenfogger making you small

but the skeleton thing helps too for dispel protection(im not sure if its a magic effect now havent touched wow)

i also used that the most basic shit and most basic transmog so u look like a peasant( ithink I typed about that in some of my other guide a long ass time ago how u can mess with ppl psychologically cuz u look like a scrub so u dont get targetted)

always turn off enchants too so u dont have flashy weapon glow shit so nerds think ur leveler or something.(one of the few good things WoD ever did was the ability to finally turn off enchant glow).

Lol I read that owned core post back in mop and man the sky mirror crystal trick worked a stupid amount of times, like I was disappointed in the playerbase amount of times.

Usually one of the Prestigious Coursers unless I'm on my Survival Hunter then I use the Obsidian Worldbreaker.

people keep talking about making themselves small or less noticeable on mounts to avoid targeting and all i hear is that yall dont know about bge and wow's larger default system nameplates that makes the size of your character irrelevant for targeting purposes <3

This. Plus being smaller may not save you from nameplates, but it can make you harder to see during intense battles and allow one extra long cast or target switch, because visual and sound prompts still are important. (Ex: One of reasons why Arcane Missile spam is not so effective is because it makes you and your kill intention to stand out like a sore thumb).

I cant honestly understand why majority of Arcane mages spam it though. Like you can slowly build Arcane blast and it becomes twice as fast the casting of Arcane Missiles and the spell doesnt even have a projectile shooting, it just directly combusts on the enemy player which gives a great advantage by not giving off the mage's position in the battlefield.

Depends on the situation, if I can build ap I will use blast over missiles but if I need damage now and have no ap or only like 1-2 I will use missiles. But it seems like most mages just spam missiles and never blast, which is strange because blast got a pvp buff recently.

Blast Damage is also "instantaneous", meaning that it may sometimes caught a healer by surprise when you switch targets.

But this is about mounts!
 
Some of my toons have a Farmer appearance so I usually use a plain Horse or my Donkey mount. For my toons that don't have a special appearance I'll usually use a Bear mount or one of my Prestigious Coursers.
