Solo TBC dungeons possible?

Inspired by dragynslayer's Classic dungeonmaster, I thought it might be possible to solo TBC dungeons as a level 20 NE Druid in an effort to get those sweet Epic gem slotted boss drops. Needless to say, after numerous attempts, I could not get past the first boss of The Blood Furnace.

I've since noticed I didn't have Chromie Time turned off, so I could try again. I also noticed most posts of solo runs are Classic dungeons, so maybe TBC is not possible.

Is it possible to solo TBC dungeons as a 20? Is it worth the effort? I'm mainly just trying to gear up.

So far I only did solo dungeons as disc/shadow priest and bm monk, I think you lack self sustain as druid, tho I may be wrong since I only played total 3h as guardian. Maybe some enchants and professions would help you

you can solo them but its not a good way to gear and you should only really solo them if you have a plan to achieve dung soloing god status

Yes, no its not worth it. And its really bad idea for gearing.

I actually believe that druid is the only class worth doing it on (hunter second with fd/meld/stealth ring, but with ilvl50 legion gear nerfed I don't know what you can still solo) - albeit in selected dungeons: for example first boss of Slave pens for pants and first boss of underbog for gloves are quite fast and you can stealth past basically everything, only 2 mobs to kill in slave pens and I think noone in UB, not even the two giants.

reasons:
1 if you want just those bosses, you don't have to feel bad to leave group without tank after leaving
2 extra chance to loot if you solo (from https://xpoff.com/threads/legacy-loot-dungeon-gearing-trick.94292/)
3 can do it while in q, once bg pop you have 1 minute to accept, (sometimes you are unlucky and miss the q if you are already on boss and not fast enough)
4 guardian dps with staff, impact chant and stones makes the fight still quite fast

edit: you clearly don't run back to the beginning but just die, never happen to having to reapir before getting what I needed

As a BM hunter I never had issues in soloing TBC instances during my gearing process.
A VERY important thing is to be in the current timeline (talk to Chromie) because the mobs have less health.
Your best bet is still to queue for the instances to get gear, but there are still several not avilable like this.

I have soloed Shattered Halls with no problems to get 2 pairs of gloves from the last boss.
Also soled Auchenai Crypts, The Slave Pens, Old Hillsbrad and The Mechanar (tricky to get up, you need a https://www.wowhead.com/item=122124/darkmoon-cannon to get up there).
All in all, it's doable and also a lot of fun.
It's also challenging you to get the best out of your class which will help you in the long run.

Definitely possible, I soloed quite a few TBC dungs on a fresh 20 prot paladin.

Most dungs took me 10-15 mins per boss (including mob clearing) so I can't say it's worth it. Only solo if you have no other choice or really enjoy the challenge.

Every dungeon is gonna be 4-5 times faster with any group.

There are always people that are looking to gear up. Some of them have Chromie unlocked. If you just want to gear up as fast as possible, I kindly invite you to join the discord and ask someone to boost you. From my experience, there's someone willing to help most of the time, even if you don't get an instant response.

It's possible on Druid as Guardian without any special gear. I think some bosses are also soloable as resto, but that's WAY harder. You probably just need a bit more Stam and a few more attempts to get a feel for when to heal. With the exception of Crypts, all TBC dungeons are pretty easy.

I have been doing legion dungeons on my hunter solo, only issue is the last boss of almost every instance. Its honestly not worth because i get decently fast queues in dungeon finder and dungeon finder runs go like 5x faster with my stupid dps helping them. When I am solo my dps is lacking because i need to focus so much on keeping the pet alive or rezzing him when it dies.

@Incind Hey man! No worries it is definitely possible to solo TBC material at level 20. You do have a class favortism bug working against you, but it is overcomeable. If you are going full ham, I would suggest taking time to farm Staff of the One True Bramble King and putting Naga Hide on it, which in a way will somewhat trivialize the content (I did not do this for my solo druid run!) and help you work against the solo bugs. My recommendation is to farm up your basic gear and gem it out with the standard Steady Talasites, but be sure to mix and match it with some DPS gear. You will need good DPS gear in order to help clear trash. Do also remember to work your CC and LoS as much as possible to keep pulls down to a minimum, and if you need to, clear out large swaths of trash so you have room to shapeshift and run when needed. Just doing those few things will be a major game changer for you my friend! There's lots of details in my guides, and many players have done those runs as well (some posted here!), so listen to their advice :). If you have any further questions I will be more than happy to offer some advice. I hope what I've given you is enough, but you should consult with @enchlol as they have completed doing TBC runs (all of them that can be done) on their druid, and that is the class you are playing :D.
