Charged Gear Farming Math

Now that the 39s biggest farming burden has been shifted to the 29s, I decided to do some quick maths since I have two characters I'll be grinding these out on before the pre-patch. Since I can't fathom anyone needing two once Deadman's Hand is out, you'll only need one ring.

Compared to BRD coffers, this is a cakewalk.

I could be wrong, but seventyupgrades says that DMH isn't out until TBC P4. If that is so, you might want 2x Charged Gear until P4. Also nice spreadsheet! I had to do 850 runs for 2x stam heavy eagle rings - never again...

I'm going for 2x Stam 2x Eagle on two different characters right now.

Already farmed 2x Stam Heavy Eagles on my 39 Druid earlier in Classic.

Am I just misremembering? I thought these were always 7/6 if its one of the 2-stat suffixes... but I just got a 7/7 eagle (on a character that don’t need it :\)

Yea after the prepatch alot of suffixes on gear has changed. Charged Gears now drop as 7/7

My fear was that all the rings dropped would possibly be between 6-7 on each stat making 6/6, 6/7, 7/6, and 7/7 all possible, but every drop I've gotten since pre-patch has been 7/7. So far 1 eagle, 1 wolf, 1 falcon. If it's only 7/7, that makes it a lot easier... I'm almost certain this wasn't the case even during wrath. I remember trying to farm for a stam ring on my FC toon, but always getting other 7/6 rings instead.

I was going to check the armory on that toon for the eagle ring that she was wearing last time I logged out, but apparently whatever level crunch they did in shadowlad made it so my toon's gear can't be viewed on the armory. I'm sure none of it would look the same anyways if my 29 is now level 13. But I'm pretty sure it was a 7/6 stam heavy ring.
