lvl29 Twink in BG?

The warlock could be an old 70 twink. I have several 70 twinks and since they are useless now, I've played exp-on BGs just for fun now and again when I feel like it.

Here's my mage, you'd think she was using an exploit or something, but really I just had exp on.

29 debuffers are kinda weird. There are some people who seem to take great pleasure in running an xp debuffed 29 with the sole purpose of making the opposing faction as miserable as possible. A couple months ago I solo Q'ed a random BG match and there was a 29 Panda Rogue debuffer that did nothing else other than grief me the whole match lmao. The person exclusively attacked ONLY me, as soon as I tried to move I'd get insta sapped and opened on, even if I had teammates by my side that would cause the Rogue's death. The best part was that their team still lost the game x)

I’m noticing this more and more also. Used to see a few with the debuff from the dungeon, but now they r just in with no debuff.
Beat em’ up and let them no they don’t belong here......:p

How does 'dungeon debuff' work? Some dungeon quest that eliminates your xp gain?

It's an exploit so you should prob not do it, but blizz also seems to not give a poop so give it a shot if you are feeling lucky.

the debuff came in the same patch as xp-off queues, i feel like this is specifically design to fill that gap (beyond nerfing 110-120 leveling in isles), at the same time it reduced xp-off activity, nobody ever got in trouble for debuffing that i know of, since patch 8.2 where this was introduced

You can keep reporting but idk, one time i tried to ask in the official forums if that was a exploit or not and i got my post deleted, but i've saw other people talk about it in the official foruns and nothing happening

chances are, you prob will never get in trouble for debuffing but this should get fixed at anytime

Also people can xp-on in the queue without going random bgs, queueing for specific (so there is not xp-bonus for winning) and quitting before the bg ends, if you're a 27 you can do like more than 100bgs until you cap 30's

If you right click and report the player inside the bg, nothing much will happen.. If you sent shots and videos to hack@blizz .. Something will happen.. Sometimes you see that character never increase any hk in their armory profile anymore, sometimes you see their character completely removed in armory.. so.. it depends on how that player is being reported .. A GM "told" me not to do it (I have never done it before) but it's feels more like a warning.. Correct me if I am wrong, I think the right click reporting in bg is the same as right click reporting outside bg, it depends on the number of people reporting and it will trigger an auto response.. It's not like someone in blizz look at it and decide how he should be penalized.. Once I call out in trade, after I created a new lvl1 character and I use the auto naming, Analisone, that my new character's is Anal Is One.. That same day I got a 3 days silence with no mail access and a name change :D:D I talk to a GM and I said the name was given by blizz and the GM said it's mass action.. I guess a number of people reported me :D:D

right click reporting should snapshot the reported character stats, buff, debuffs, state, zone, together with your report text, so it should be enough info for any gm to analyse it

Either they dont care, or its planned for fix, anyhow you should report if you consider that is a exploit

Be aware that this is true and the auto ban for mass report is as well

Gonna go Ook me some Rogue......:PepeLaughW:

As someone who doesn't BG all that often, and is confused at the apparent double standard here, can someone please explain how this is significantly different than locking your xp via letting your sub expire at level 20?

At least there is a hard limit to how many times these folks can do it, and you can no longer duplicate this type of character as the raids and heroic dungeons now require level 30. Where as level 20 vets get to permanently reign relatively supreme in the bracket while just using a different method to eliminate XP.

Disagree with me all you want, but getting upset about this seems incredibly hypocritical IMHO. Maybe try an attitude adjustment and see them more as a rarespawn and unique challenge to test your hard earned skills against.

Again, I don't do this, but what else are you gonna do with obsolete twinks? I certainly don't see this as any less honorable than a 20 vet, who just eliminates xp a different way for essentially the same advantage.

Fun way to go out with a bang before you turn your 27/29 into a level 30 raid twink if you ask me.
