Let us take a moment to appreciate the current status of the bracket

After about 4k HKs on my Hpal over the past month or so, i can say this is by far the most fun bracket i have played in. i am saying this as someone who has twinked since the server only pvp days. this reminds me of the old 70~79 bracket where I had a lot of fun too as a 70 rogue.

i want to thank all of you for making this lively pvp scene available, including the alliance premades that have farmed me and other horde twinks, as rivalry is always a healthy element for a pvp bracket.

i want to write down a few things as to why this bracket feels so fun for me personally, feel free to add your bits.

1, having access to a variety of BGs, especially the complex ones, such as eye of the storm, silvershard mines, temple of kotmogu and even seething shore where i lose most of the time. i am really not a fan of capture-the-flag BGs as they are so one-dimentional and there is limited room for 5-head plays. honestly, i would blacklist WSG and Twin Peaks if i could, even though my build works best for these BGs. i do wish that AV would pop from time to time, it has never been my favorite BG but I miss it.

2, 1~3 twinks vs 1~3 twinks BGs do happen. these are usually the most fun games. the levelers are sort of like "cards", as a twink, i need to play my "cards" optimally to win.

3, PVP is not overly bursty or the other way, there are plenty of ways to gear your toon and a wide range of playstyle is viable for every single class or even spec.

4, In the grand scheme of things, GF'd gears make minimal difference. furthermore, readily available items (such as https://www.wowhead.com/item=7375/green-whelp-armor ) that most people overlook can be amazing in the hands of the right players.

5, the queue time is amazing, i often find myself not having enough time to do AH business in betwen queues.

6, the community is amazing. sure people may talk trash on the forums, but most twinks i have interacted with (from both sides) have been nice inside the game.

if you are already part of this bracket, thank you for being part of the community and making it possible.

if you are a lurker that is considering trying out the bracket, what are you waiting for, do it now! (consider coming to horde as the two biggest guilds are both ally right now, so there is a little bit of imbalance)

P.S.: keep in mind that i am writing this after a painful loss in Temple where i believe i could have done more to help my team win, so i really mean it when i say I am absolutely enjoying this bracket.

Let us take a moment to appreciate that it's not his nth thread about the fucking paladin. :KEKW:
1 more of those, with him explaining how his build is superior even in wargames and I am going to throw my labtop across the room.

yeah except for surv hunters being broken and dh's not having anything really viable everything's ideal

it's up there with the best of times.
wotlk was the last of unusual talent tree builds and i still miss that..
cata 70s were bangin like 20s are now
hard to choose among those 3.

That was when you could 60 twink with the 60-65 bracket? or am I misremembering

i coudn't say, my memory gets fuzzy anyway.
my favorite was actually something you could do as a naked 19 shaman to kite a whole wsg team back n forth across the map. came across it when a shammy expertly kited my geared out rogue that was on flag def. when i saw that i was like "i gotta have one" and lol'd to find it worked nearly gearless.

edit: i think it went something like this

I've talked (at embarrassing length and with terrible sound quality) about where I think the bracket is and the state of 20s on the whole and I still stand by that assessment. Its never been more fun and its never been less cool.

But damn, there really hasn't been a better time to get into 20s. The starter version of WOW is not only good "for a free game" its just outright good.

thanks for being a content creator, this is what we need.

limited room for 5-head plays.

My heart bleeds not for myself, but for all of those around us.
