Ele force advice

Hey,

I’m working on a new elemental shaman and I remembered that I have a ele force shield in my bank. I was just wondering if there is any way I can make it viable? It kind of feels like ele force isn’t worth the loss of stats and I don’t see anyone play ele force anymore but I kind of like the idea of double ele force on a caster. However I was also thinking that double ele force isn’t the best on ele sham because they don’t spam spells as much as some other classes. Maybe just worth with ele on shield and sp on weapon? Any suggestions?

Shamans at this level can cast a lot of spells.
- Earthen Rage (each tick is considered a spell that can proc elemental force)
- Frost Shock (even even though it isn't considered a Damage over Time effect, it does tick for 6 seconds and each tick can proc elemental force)
- Flame Shock (this one is pretty straight forward)
- Elemental Overload (a duplicate lightning bolt or lava burst can proc it)
Then outside the shaman toolkit, you have items, gear and trinkets that can force a proc.

I did not know stuff that didn’t do dmg had procs like that. I had earthen rage on my mind but I’m not sure I want it over double lava. I will go for a lot of mastery though so overload will sure help. Gonna have to dig into this further.

I think even the frag bomb does proc ele force.

Cool, cool... so what items do you guys know that proc extra dmg pretty often to combine with this kind of build? I know there is a trinket that procs at least from legion dung.

From what I have heard, things like naglering and other items are having their damage pools buffed soon according to xpoff and PTR currently. I wish I had more information for you but I haven’t really tested a build like this personally. Best of luck!!

Yeah, read about that aswell. Gonna try and find some stuff on wowhead and adventure guide.
