And you along with about 8 other people can keep regurgitating the same hypothetical BG where all I do is charge, sit on my ass and 'wish' I had a few extra secondary stats.... its getting quite old hearing this. It was never very well thought out or realistic and hardly suffices for real testing.

Edit: Actually come to think of it, that whole argument isn't even relevant as the only thing you guys are arguing there is the inherent inadequacies that Fury has and not ACTUALLY arguing any valid point against the topic at hand; Destiny and its usefulness as a twink weapon

No you are too stupid to see that the two are linked directly. Can I use 2 Destinies on any other class/spec... no I can't have a Dual wield Destiny Disco Priest. Fury is the ONLY FUCKING SPEC that is relevant to your conversation... you complete idiot.

So what ever shortcomings Fury has Destiny(s) suffer the EXACT same shortcomings. The main one being that Fury is easily CCed (unless again you are farming retards) and there for the procs are not up as much as your little video of you going HYPER-fucking-ACTIVE on a training dummy.

The i49s (and really i34 or Hellscreams are basically there as well) do their business at the same capacity and you don't have to wait for a proc... and if you dont have a crusader proc or a destiny proc.. .which guess what!!!!??? HAPPENS a lot...the i49 BURIES the statless Destiny.

JEE ZUZ...shut the fuck up.

I didn't want to make another thread to ask this, so since this thread is so active I'd like to ask...

Is this enough herbs to guarantee 300 alch in one go? I took engineering too early and can't drop it, and I don't want to waste anymore time gathering herbs to attempt this twice. I went above the yellow recommended totals in the sticky guide, but I figured I'd maybe ask someone with experience doing alch.

Looks like enough for nearly two kits. http://www.wow-professions.com/wowguides/wow-alchemy-leveling-lower-levels some RNG involved but you have extras of everything.

While I know your intentions are good, please refrain from de-railing threads in the future. Thanks! :)

Hey man, in the video it seems like Whirlwind is hitting 3 targets. Don't this increase the proc chance and uptime of Crusader and Destiny?

BGs often envolve some cleave but I'd love to see its single target uptime.

I already asked this as well but he just ignored it.

Again, tho... nobody is saying (I hope) that Destiny is not going to wreck... but comparing it to double broken mcbokner shit like an i49 is just nonsense.

If you are new or you are on the fence... don't think that Destiny is bad... it is just not BiS.

this thread is lead by so much ego lmao

comon folks..
its a tradeoff, and there are so many factors playing into which wep combination is the best choice in a given situation.

numbers vs numbers
sustain vs RNG-based burst

anyways.. since i own 2 Destiny(s) on my warr
here's some quick data:
42 Artifacts with 2 crus proccs

vs
2 Destiny proccs with crus
Screenshot_827.png

Can you put out more dmg with double Destiny in certain situations, than with ilvl 49 artifacts? -Yes (especially if used with other gadgets that benefit from pure mainstats)
Is it optimal running around with Destiny all the time? -No (trading off sustain for RNGezuz prayer obviously can be pretty stupid)

Ofc Destiny can be an potential game-changer, so can Rivendare, Mug'O Hurt, or even Vibro's.
Welcome to an RPG.

Destiny is a decent tool, still variety is key.
If you swap during downtimes, situational awareness, you can make it worth it.
If you're too lazy for that, and want simplistic gameplay, then i'd always go with fixed stats. but w/e just go with whats most "fun" for you, i guess. Be prepared to get into ego-battles with other twinkie-neckbeards questioning your gameplay then. :p

when it comes to uptime, i dont have any precise data for you rn (just logged in to take the screens real quick, not playing the game atm), but i found it to procc slightly less than crusader (maybe 15% less), barely noticeable. All in all, a decent enough uptime to make it an SITUATIONAL consideration.

...

TLDR: Is Destiny BiS? -Occasionally (depends on ur gameplay, build, roll, team, situation)

Destiny can be an decent tool, if you know when/how to use it.

some info for those toying with the idea of grabbing an Destiny or nah:
Would i recommend it?
If you like the "let the stars align and adapt" type of gameplay, sure why not. Some people find it fun, others hate it. can defo do some interesting stuff with it.
There are some builds, talents and even race choices, that make it more effective.

Examples:
Vulpera Racial scales with AP. And let me tell ya, if you're able to stack proccs, it can mean insta-death for your opponent. or be the saving "Lay on Hands" for you and your mates.

Stacking it with "Death Wish" talent lets you 1shot even tanky opponents.

If you're stuck in an ongoing midfight backed up by healers on both sides, stacking proccs, use time-window to take out the leading heal with an quick vulp>execute, can obv turn around an game.
Btw
the only wep combo i'd ever use over ilvl 49 artifacts as an "allrounder", would be Singing Crystal Axe/Jackhammers. furys with that shit gonna destroy even with 1 procc. GL getting two! ;)

Honestly the video showed the EXACT/ONLY situation where Destiny beats out the other tier 1 weapons.
Agreed

Not really worth using single-target (unless you get really lucky).

It CAN work out, occasionally even the charge proccs double Destiny, followed by 2 Crus's. its not THAT rare tbh. but defo not reliable enough.

In midfights however, it can play a big role.
