PTR - 50 ilvl legion gear & wod gear changed.

So remove a large aspect of an expansion just to mitagate a few upset twinks?

I mean they already did away with Artifact Traits and abilities, which the Relic system was supposed to complement, and it was a far bigger system than the relic system. At this point, Relics are kinda what their name implies, just a relic of a larger system it used to support. Noone would miss its removal

Just checked .. my 5 str 6 stam gems intact on my 27s .. All my frost DKs remains over 6k+ health and my hellscream weapons is far superior than a ilvl49 artifact weapon.. Think my toons will be quite ok in the 20-29 bg.. That's a close one, well it's a happy day today :D

Lol I just checked too and I was about to tell you they’re still good
 
Lost more than 50% of what my spells used to deliver. (The following are Approx values of a lvl 20 toon)
-Incinerate 260-490
-Conflagrate 550-840
-Chaos bolt 900-1.2K
-Soul Fire 2k-5k
Post nerf
-Incinerate 130-300
-Conflagrate 240-590
-Chaos Bolt 500-800
-Soul Fire 1200-1400
Quite a Shame, but it is what it is i guess.
 
How much of an advantage does a character have with all of those harmonious procs if you are playing a class that doesn't have a great mastery use? i.e frost DK, holy paladin etc
Frost DK needs lots of mastery.. I don't know what nox and icy says.. But my blood and frost dks all goes mastery if I can.. My mm hunters too, I even go as far as treating my mastery as my agil in hunters due to the added range, yeah and locks too. might be coincidental that those I played always need a lot of mastery.. Maybe because I am a crit/has hater :D

everything minus weapon, boots, bracer and one trinket, yes.
Rings necklace and cloaks are gone.. Require lvl35 now
 
What's funny is that i still had some scaled ilvl 44 gear I was keeping in my Void, they slapped an level 35 req on that stuff too lmao

The slap on in void storage is really weird. Some of the items were put to level 35, others, even of the same kind(I have blammer's blammo 2x, 1 warforged 1 with OS) as those pushed to level 25.
 
The items that require 35 are the apexis rares that required a group to kill previously. All other wod rares, even those near or within apexis assault areas, were scaled to normal ilvl of lvl you're at.
Example would be Socrethar's Rise, where Demidos' neck now requires 35, and he's a group-kill rare. Temptessa, 100 yards away in same area, requires 10+ and the gear scales.
 
@doumatjee Class balance is indeed a fairy tale, however, the easiest way to make certain everyone is equal in BG's is FULL Templates, not half ass shit. I mean every single Character in that BG has identical Health, Armor, AP/SP, Regen, Main Stat and disable Secondaries in BG's. That wouldn't be too difficult for Blizz to implement but one thing it'd do, is bring to light how out of whack Classes are in each XPac (always some new FotM).
 
maybe the ones claimed before the update cannot be opened anymore. ill have to get new ones to check again
nope newly acquired items cant be used either. although tormented gear (ilvl 43, required level 36) can be opened but munificent gear (ilvl 44) cannot be opened.

That Armor Enhancement Token better be a bug, I was planning to get a full 675 team...

I feel like I constantly have to point out that we're complaining about balance in early game 10 v 10 CTF maps in a game balanced around 3v3 arenas at max level.

You have to accept that twinking will be imbalanced.
 
@Chops I was being a little sarcastic. Homogenization of Classes is the #1 problem with WoW today, 2nd is Blizz's constant pandering to casuals and dumbing down the Game. There are supposed to be Classes to counter other Classes, like when WoW was young. I'm not by any means saying Classic or even TBC was 'balanced' but imho it was superior to today's WoW, from a PvP perspective.

Ive been mining saronite for a week to prospect enough gems to finally be able to level alchemy so I can spend 2.5 weeks waiting on xmute CDs to make the epic gems I need. But before I do that, I've gotta fight all the gold farmers in nagrand mining khorium so I can get enough adamantite to prospect enough talasite to have a tank set. Thatll probably also take a week or more. THEN I have to mine something like 800 elementium, which is in zones above my character level, to grind out cata engi for cogs.

All told, I might have bis by the new year. maybe.

But sorry to those folks who had to get carried through a 30 minute raid once a week? I guess?
Holy fuck, man.
