PTR - 50 ilvl legion gear & wod gear changed.

Imho if they wanted a fully balanced bracket they should nerf azerites, all 44s, take out GF artifacts too (i would be ok losing mine if that means balance) so the endgear for a character would look smth like: full ilvl 25 except the 4 pieces ilvl50 + ilvl 31-34 artifact.

Getting into the TBC gem meta will hurt alot of STR users as when the sub runs out (or on F2P) the means of getting STR gems are very few.

My advice on fellow twinkers: use the free weekend to farm gold to buy your bis enchs and gems from AH, im going to remake my f2p paladin ilvl39 into my vet account!

Edit: seems like after the maint my free gametime on my main acc (i was able to log on a 50 bit ago) just run out lol so yeah xD

sad azerite gear still isn’t nerfed... same with ilvl 49 weapons, i know everyone agrees.

there’s going to be such a disparity between levelers and twinks and twinks with azerite/ilvl 49 artifact... anyone who started twinking in the last week or so is at such a disadvantage i really don’t like this at all :/

Well lets be real, all the new twinks have been at an disadvantage for years if we take GFd things into consideration so its perfectly fine

For the F2P and Vet bracket, gf’d items haven’t really been an issue since legion. Except maybe northrend engineering, but even that wasn’t anywhere on the scale of what we’re seeing right now. Aside from the ilvl 180 items people had to hide to not get taken, gf’d items offered like 3-4 main stat higher. Or .5-1 dps more.

But if you take enchants into consideration then the numbers are quite similar in power. GFd Helm enchants, +15 main stat enchants on gloves / cloak and the list goes on. Don't get me wrong I'm 100% fine with them nerfing Azerite, Artifacts or ilvl 50 gear but old twinks will still have an edge over all the twinks created during prepatch (I'm saying this from a lvl 29 bracket standpoint).

Most of our new gear will come from TBC dungeons with double/triple socket pieces.

I cant seem to find any good Ring pieces to replace the ilvl44 ones.

So far from searching wowhead I found https://www.wowhead.com/item=43249/shadowmight-ring which seems to have a relic slot. 2 socket ring.

Any other suggestions? I know there are Honor Hold rings for 1 socket each but might be 27 req...

these two rings actually give me more dmg output than the ilvl 44 rings to my surprise. i only keep the ilvl 44 rings equipped since the stam was too good.

ik u play lvl 10 twinks so i might be giving u false info doe, but for 20s i can attest to this. i guess it also depends on the class, since some don't benefit well from mastery as others

If you are willing to take JC there is Jade Ring of Slaying and Earthshadow Ring, if not there is Stoneguard Band, Bloodstone Band or Sun Rock Ring. They all have a gem slot and can be crafted with a Relic of the Past. I use most of these rings because i'm tired of having to regear every time Blizz wants to nerf something.
