Yeah I would walk in with both and have your high level clear all the way to the lasher boss and just log off the high level and solo the boss with rogue. Farmed x2 Boots in 4 runs that way.

I could maybe use my pally to heal if I alt tab lol.

edit: got up to Murmer (last boss in shadow labyrinth) and got 1 shot. wasted 2 hours.

then you wont get the x2 items on the rogue each kill which nerfs that method by 50%
 
For a pure F2P, something like cannon plus gliders [or p2p assist with 2-seat fly mount] seems to be required to "walk into" Botanica and Mechanar [their entrances are on floating platforms one has to fly to get to].

On that note, it looks like level 20s, in theory, can do those [though not through queues unfortunately], even though they're in a minimum level 25 zone.
