EU+US WoD 2.0? a tough question for everyone

Depends on the toon. I enjoy the idea of vet/f2p twinking in that "get as much as you can out of this character within the confines of blizzards restrictions" way. So I'll have no trouble leveling my F2P toons to the new F2P cap. It was never about being a certain level or at a certain game stage, it was always about maxing F2P. And now maxing F2P means pushing up some more levels.

I'm also leveling my old OG 39 in preparation for 19s. But with the news that vets will likely be 20, I'll probably level him to 20 and play him as my vet. There's a lot of cool GF'd gear and years of memories involved in a toon that can now get casual BG ques again. Im fucking stoked!

But my current vets? Probably gonna stay at 10. More because I gotta get over my alt-itis and SL is a good excuse to park a lot of them and really concentrate on 1 vet and 1 f2p.

I agree with this and will probably do likewise. I only have a handful of toons anyway, so not as severe alt-itis :p
My F2P toons - I will park up at 10. Damn, just forgot I should have farmed Coren for some coin. I want to lock them at 10. Might assist if I have to do a dungeon run with one of them if they stay 10.
My Vets, now I am a Vet at heart..... yeah yeah, don't stone me...... I will level them to 20. More so that I can do bg's with them from time to time. This will include getting a DK up to 20. Forget DH, never played one and never will. DK is for old times sake.
But for gearing purposes, I will only focus on 1. I think SL will be way too big now to seriously gear more than 1 or 2 toons tbh.
So watch out Hordies..... inc big red Huntard and his trusty sidekick! ;)

Coincidently I decided to make a 24/25 a few days ago so that I can use my tunnel pick weapon lol still have my 14 twink rogue from Cata too in my sig

I have a boat load of alts just like chops, but it gives me a reason to gear these toons Incase they get put in a bracket someday
 
Tough one, i'm not sure atm. Ilvl 28 gear is really hard to just store away..
 
Personally, im leaning towards leveling my main twink. My logic to do so is driven by the fact that most of the iconic gf'd stuff i have in my bags isnt even bis right now and probably wont be in shadowlands. So therefore, all the special gear like AGM, lucky fishing hat, TF legion invasion, etc will ALWAYS be in my bags regardless if I stay 10 or not. You can also create "swag sets" to prove to others that you were part of the OG f2p community too.

Another huge factor is I want to continue to get honorable kills on my toon that already has 250k+. I feel like rerolling a twink just wont feel the same to me, nor do I want to que at 10 and be at a disadvantage against lvl 19 twinks. The power gap between 10-19 is 10x more drastic than 20-29

OH YEAH AND I HAVE THIS ITEM KNOWN AS PRECIOUS RIBBON. YOU BET UR ASS I WANT TO PLAY ON THAT TOON 24 7

two, pretty much goohd's logic, plus i have a hard time coming up with names i can live with that aren't already taken by a lvl 53 that looks like it's been abandoned for years.
 
In order to make an informed decision, does anyone know:
  1. What happens to gear @ squish? Is it downgraded with the alt so when we level back up to 20 post squish all current gear is useless? (My assumption.)
  2. What level squishes back to 20? i.e. could we get some game time & level up a level 20 alt to, say 35 (if that was it), & when the squish happens we're back at 20?
  3. & the reason for asking 2. is - if we could do that, would our current gear be as we left it pre-squish, so usable for a level 20?
Just a thought.
