Is it true the XP Eliminator is removed in the PTR?

Just heard the XP eliminator was removed in shadowlands PTR. Can anyone confirm or is my multibox friend full of it?

Changed your title. Please do not pose things as this as a statement, currently there is no definitive answer and the assumption is just that the new re-work of the area the npc is present in is currently void of all NPCs for the re-work. Hope this helps

He is phased out for some of the preliminary quests to get started with an expansion (I believe its the bfa one?) Once you complete those and come back the npc should be there.

Thanks. Didn't meant to be an alarmist with the title but there is limited space. I found this hard to believe but just had to ask
