Heart broken, I'm sad this morning...

I watch Seinfeld when I'm feeling down... Not the first couple seasons but like from 4 on they're gold lol. Kramer, Newman and George crack me up with their antics... George trying to get fired from the NY Yankees is a must watch haha!

Ya'll are nice. I finally climbed back out of bed to check this thread. Thank you all for posting.

Reward yourself. Doesn't have to be anything crazy, even the tiniest thing that most people find insignificant, but that you really appreciate, is good enough.

A cold coke and a movie / tv show? Talking to an old buddy? Dust off a personal project or start a new one?

The last one can get tricky, because it can translate into work directly, which isn't overall a bad thing. It just depends on personality. I know people where "keeping busy" isn't really a problem solver, it just postpones the problems instead. I personally find it liberating, because sadness to me isn't an actual problem. It's a state of mind, and if I can derail myself from those thoughts, I'll eventually never go back.

Damn you best world.... I'm literally spamming pokemon go to feel better. Small town but three games that aren't Valor?

If you don't mind indie games:

Ori and the blind forest was absolutely amazing.

Hollow Knight is also really good.

I also gotta love LIMBO and INSIDE from Playdead. This Danish game studio is a true gem, and I'm not saying that as a Dane, I'm saying that as a gamer.

Don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy

also here’s something uplifting
