I started feeling the symptoms about 9 days ago. Then went in to test about 5 days in (getting and appointment was a pain) so I was pretty much over the symptoms then. The person at the clinic told me that it feels more-so like a basic cold for younger people like me, which I already knew.
The worst part about it wasn’t even the virus itself. It was the sores formed in my throat following my immune system going into overdrive.. it started out as a sore throat, but later developed into canker sores that are still burning and aching (despite treatments). It’s insanely hard to eat even soft foods and water/milk. Waking up after a long sleep is also very painful since I’ve been breathing in a bunch of air past it and swallowing very little, so it’s as dry as can be. I basically never get them in my throat unless I get sick. So I’m ready for this shit to be over.
