what podcasts/youtubers do u listen 2/watch

Chip was always a hit or miss, going to a subscription for full episodes pretty much kills it for me. Also gonna bail on Rogan if it means I need to pay for Spotify or listen to ads.

Youtube, my guy.

Alternatively, you can always DL the episodes as well if you want them available offline. That's what I do with Mindscape for instance. I like to both listen AND watch Rogan though for some reason.

I think part of Rogan's deal with Spotify is exclusivity to their platform, although I'm sure some homeless cats are gonna be posting pirate streams on Youtube.

Yeah I saw that deal after I wrote my message. It kind of sucks tbh, but the way he put it was that the video format of the podcast would be exclusive to Spotify, implying other platforms will still contain the audio version.

And yeah, if people really want the video experience as well without all the spotify bullcrap, they'll pirate that shit.

yall listen to way too much joe rogan. Mans got a mind like a fucking sieve.

Anyway, you should listen to Revolutions. Hosted by Mike Duncan. He also did History of Rome. Great shit. Though HOR starts pretty lowfi, fair warning.

Put a little Behind The Bastards on your list too. It Could Happen Here was a great sort of "podcast mini series" and same for "The Womens War" which is a quality look at Rojava.

Yeah dude, Rogies is kinda on the outs for me. I may tune in here and there, but there's only so many times I can listen to him talking about heat-shock proteins. There are more entertaining ways to burn 3 hours. Actually the Jon Stewart episode was pretty good last week.

Matt and Shane's Secret Podcast, Jeremiah Wonders and Kill Tony have been in my comedy lineup this week. On the more serious side, NPR's Fresh Air did a podcast with an American Epidemiologist, Michael Osterholm regarding Covid19 (he also did Rogan in the early days of the outbreak). Also Empire Files dropped a new episode last week which kinda gave a broad view of the ongoing US occupation of Afghanistan.
