You sit on ToT against pugs that have no idea about jumps, that's not pvp buddy and you are one of the lowest skilled players on Horde.

If he plays the toon "FC", then yeah, I've had issues with him. His Cap/Enemy Repick ratio is pretty terrible in my games.

Great, he can make a lot of ToT jumps but he's missing something in his brain to know when to get closer to the cap. It's not realistic to expect a 15 second lead time to cap a flag. Playing ultra conservative with the flag is not being a good FC. It's OK to lose the occassional flag if you're preventing a lot of repicks. You need to have better sense on whether the O looks to have a good opportunity of returning and reposition yourself during those times.

What Would Charax Do?

I never know for sure but definitely not this

Play smarter. :D

Nah he plays a shaman/lock mostly. He has 0 pvp ability so you won't see him do much in teamfights. Only thing hes known for is sitting ToT vs 500hp Ally teams the entire game and also safespotting.

He's probably one of the least skilled players in the bracket and taking jumps out of the equation hes a complete non factor.

I can’t cap a flag when you instant return it, with no warning of the EFC dropping. 9/10 of the time I am kiting multiple players and they’re bound to be in our FR.

if you read my FC guide you’d probably get a more in-depth take of this. But ultimately, if an FC sits on the cap they are literally cornering themselves and are a sitting duck: you need to let your FC know when to head to cap and when EFC is dropping. As I probably told you in game several times

dog, i aint read nothing after my last post, but tapman u r a bitch, u aint a good fighter, u aint even a respectable twinker. u need to catch up mustard.

Want the screenshots with half the Ally team having 500hp? That's what the average Alliance team is, anyone who plays Alliance knows that kid.

I'm not going to roll Horde to get easy wins the other bads like you, I don't mind fighting an uphill battle and still winning because the average Horde twink is terrible.

Look.. your problem is that alliance sucks balls.. but you wont do anything about it and double down, insisting you can overcome.. but I doubt that.

I looked at your guide and it doesn't address this, except in the extreme... meaning, you think I'm telling you that you should sit on the cap (which I didn't, and I tried explaining that to you in our games).

Ignore this if you want and continue to have a bad cap to enemy repick ratio but here is my take.

Assuming this is a pug game with unreliable intel on EFC, you need to assess if you think your team will have a decent change at a flag play. Instead of goofing around on ToT and being 15 seconds away from capping, you should keep the flag mobile and travel paths closer to the cap (balc, roof), so maybe you're only 5 seconds away from capping. If you're on the roof, you're not far from being able to root pursuers, if necessary.

Being immobile unnecessarily on ToT just isn't the right way to FC. Work on your spidey sense to assess when a return is fairly close (look where your O is, are they together, are their resource bars moving around, is their health indicative that they're wiping or not). Or, continue doing what you do... but don't expect back claps that you seem to crave because you can improve.

On point with the recent discussion on FCing. From today (after two opposition repicks when our FC was sitting at Tot):

This is what EVERY FC does... they sulk and refuse to carry the flag again. Guys, don't be so flaky.

I’m always open to criticism but if you think I just sit on TOT the entire time you’re wrong lol. I’m constantly on the move and kiting when I can. I don’t think you understand that there are times an FC literally can’t capture the flag because the enemy team is baiting a repick in his FR. Every thing I do is calculated. It shouldn’t be unreasonable of me to ask you to communicate EFC status

I understand that when you are under duress, you're mobile, but when you aren't, you're nesting place is ToT, which is far away from capping.

Pugs usually don't give you enough warning for you to travel from ToT to cap. If you're looking for a, "hey, maybe we'll have a successful flag play here... be ready" well in advance of a cap, that's not likely intel you're going to get.

If you're not under duress, use your spidey sense and consider going mobile nearer the cap rather than nesting at ToT.

Yes, I will sit TOT when I am not under duress. Because this is the smart thing to do. when I sit on either fence or TOT, I have access to a viewpoint of the entire playing field. When I am on D alone, I can see an INC from every angle and call it out for myself. I can request someone to die and respawn at GY for me, I can kite from 3-4 different ways when I am on fence. It's just the smartest thing to do. Can't really argue with my point; I feel like most of the time people argue with me for the sake of arguing with Jwl.

But yeah, it's truly not unrealistic for a pug to make callouts on EFC status. Especially when I go out of my way to ask for them. Even a /battleground macro that says something along the lines of "EFC 10% head to cap" would be nice

jwl x charax interview comin soon, stay tuned!

Providing your rationale, like the way you did, is something you should migrate to your guide. It's valid, especially if you assess your team is not currently in position for a reasonable attempt at the flag.

Changing how pugs communicate intel to you is something you cannot really control. If you find you're getting timely intel to move closer to the cap, then continue doing what you do. If you're not, maybe consider going mobile closer to the cap when your O looks to be attacking the EFC to reduce repick opportunities.

It can be a good discussion to talk about being ultra conservative with the flag or more aggressive. More aggressiveness reduces repicks but also increases the chances that you die. But, if you're being aggressive in a situation where your offense has a good chance of a flag play, they likely have a good chance at repicking in case you die.

I FC'd for years btw. I rarely allowed repicks (but I did die on occassion). I guess that's just my preferred style of play.

It's proof you have no concept of how to pvp so you have to rely on TOT and safespots vs 500hp Ally teams.
