a question on Gold Making on Brutosaur in SL

i am having this idea .. regarding the Brutosaur mount that cost 5 mil now .. if i create a new wow account, and buy 1 of this mount .. and i plan to sell it for near 10 mil later when it becomes BMAHed .. if a buyer want to buy this account, will he be able to merge it with his main account, so that his toons on his main account can summon this mount ? if it is possible, a lot of gold can be made this way
 
cant merge unless acc is under same name that you xfer it off of. and I am not 100 percent sure whats bound on a bnet and what is not bound. i no a good way to make cash is xffering off a toon that has glorious/ demonic tyranny in his or her bag and transferring too different accounts so the illusion becomes avaliable on the new bnet. not sure how mounts/titles/tabards/mogs work exactly. im sure it would be the same way as long as the name was the same on the acc and the earner of the mount was on the account i think it would become soulbound to a new bnet.

when you can get it on bmah starting at 5

that’s a big amount. You won’t have competition like other bmah items where people xfer to buy. If someone wants it they buy it now... or they just wait till it appears in their realm and they will probably be one of very few able to even afford the 5m starting fee who doesn’t have it already



anyways yes you would make a bnet with a very throw away name I guess, something that is easy to change to your buyers, then you buy the mount and leave it in your bags.

My dads account has toons with unused items that get sent to every toon like blizzard bear , tyreal mount, and vanilla-cata collectors pets, when I decide to finally merge a character from his to mine by changing his first name, I think I’ll have to delete the pets sadly, but can xfer with the mounts he has

to me it sounds like you're talking about buying gold from a third party site, something that is against blizzard's world of warcraft terms of service.

You dont need the same first name to transfer characters across accounts

if u have the same last name u can just xfer the toon to your acc and learn pets and mount. No need for first name to match. if u have the pets and mount in bag its GG

nah .. its my gold .. i have a lot of them .. i am a AH player .. i have more gold than most huge realms total gold combined

yeah you are right .. i missed this part .. its pretty expensive so the competition will not be as high as those cheap mounts on BMAH .. this is something i prob have to reconsider

It's too much hassle.

If you're into making gold off BMAH, simply provide a shuffle service for a fee. That's how you'll make real gold when you're sitting on a high amount. People will want BMAH items, but don't want to buy tokens or go to illegal 3rd party for it. So what they do is, they'll try to find someone who's willing to do a swap. No one does 1:1 these days, unless the person you swap with actually needs the gold on your realm. They'll always do a fee and it can go as high as 20%. That's not uncommon. So spread out your gold on low to medium pop realms and whenever someone needs gold there for a BMAH item you just jack up the fee and gg.

SL will prob be my last expac, even though i said that for legion and bfa too lolol .. i havent actually play legion and bfa .. just fooling around with lvl10-19 bg and 101s during the early stages of legion .. and doing 3-hrs of dailies everyday .. the real way of making gold is still cross realm transfer .. each guild transfer carrying 10 mil worth of goods and dumping in another realm to make 20 mil has been my only way of making gold, on average about 10-15 guild movement per month .. been doing this since cata but stop in bfa .. my gold making time is over, came up with this thought of the AH mount just to sink some gold into a long term investment, instead of having them in gold form
 
make sure you create the account with a obvious fake name or gibberish so when you sell the account the new account holder can change the first n last name without a gm asking why they're changing the name
