Rules need to be established round this....

as far as consumables in pugs go. cry all you want because youre poor and are at a disadvantage but its like asking for only fiery enchants because you dont have the money to pay for 15 agi. its sad. twinking has always been and always will be about getting the absolute most out of a low level character. just because you dont want to put in the time to farm for consumables doesnt mean everyone else should have to play at a non maximal level.

as far as planned 10v10s go, people have been establishing rules beforehand since vanilla. we dont need to talk about this.

the only things we should maybe be talking about are saved holiday consumables such as the valentines +44 spell power/2hit food and ZG shoulder enchants. these things give unfair advantages as they are no longer attainable.

side note, pallys are gay especially dwarf and should be spammed down with consumables in pugs. yup i said it. 16 seconds of no slow on a 4 second cd + bubble + LoH + more. even an inbred half brain pally would literally never ever die if the enemy team didnt use consumables in pugs. i bet the arena rules crowd are hunters rogues priest and pally. grow up. were not changing pug twinking because ur lazy and poor im sorry to be toxic but lets be honest. spend the time if u want to be good, dont if you wanna be handicapped.

Twinking didn't start in WoW and it's been called many things in many games. Runescape has pures. The idea is lower level pop or showing off your stats/gear. Sometimes doing bosses that would otherwise be very difficult at the level you are. Nowhere does it say you have to make a game unenjoyable and make yourself a worse player by adding an element that's even more broken. You realize how many levelers there are in pugs, Right? What's the point of popping a speed pot after you were already outplayed to run away from a bunch of level 14s? Twinking has almost always universally chosen over mains byvthe players that make up the bracket because they don't want to invest the time it takes to have a 60. Or they actually have a job with a future and dont have time for it. The argument you're making goes both ways. It's just a sign that you cant make plays outside of an advantage l. Not like the facts will change anyone's mind. Do what thou wilt. But go try that shit st endgame imo

i played runescape true classic and 2007 and trust me there was never an agreed upon food or potion set. the whole wild isnt gonna eat lobsters just because you suck and only have 40 fishing. if you dont have the money for sharks go fucking fish or make the money and come back to the wild when youre actually prepared. again im sorry youre lazy but it aint my fault. also no one is speed potting vs level 14s BUT when youre playing against twink paladins who speed pot themselves or abuse race specific jumps why not get dirty with bombs and swiftness yourself. also most times im queueing solo or with 1-2 other ppl and run into 6-8 man same guild same server stacks off all paladin priest hunter rogue and im gonna level the playing field sorry. point is you cant control an entire bracket and people are gonna take every advantage they can to win. stop crying because your premade is getting beat by pugs with consumables hahaha.

Fiery is a better enchant than +15 Agi generally speaking, FYI

i realize that (especially when killing a FC), it was just a shitty example. and i know you got the point and are just arguing semantics now lol

No but it's also different, you get other players consumables in runescape. If you're good at pking honestly you never had to buy anything. No ones saying you can control an entire bracket. But if enough 19s who are self aware start playing with actual skill in mind being that this is a game, we could have some intense good games. And the majority of the people I see speed potting are in pugs! A lot of the time, I'm solo quing. And I'm talking about games I'm in where its essentially a stalemate and the only small advantage the other team has is some moron with world bluffs and speed pots. Fyi I dont really q with more than 3 people.if my guild is running a 5 man I'll usually make a new group or solo q. Because facerolling pugs with an obvious advantage isn't fun. Its sad

I'm not here to change anyone's mind. Yall aren't really any of my concern anyway. We are cut from a different tink cloth. I'm A1 you're Sam's club steak sauce. Nothing but love though.

If we're trying to establish a fair PVP experience for both parties, then shouldn't we start blacklisting certain players from queueing into lesser skilled players? It's not fair TBH. The skill gap in this bracket is rather large and it's impossible to have an enjoyable PVP experience when I am up against more than 1 good player at a time.

We need to put the consumable argument aside and start worrying about the real problems.
May I suggest; Average skilled players queue during AM hours, and above average skilled players queue during PM hours? Seems like an easy fix to me, but I am open to all suggestions.

I think it's funny when some dude on a druid 3 caps using speed pots and all kinda terrain exploits, even though his team had like no kills all match. I can't really complain, I mean it's still fun farming the other 9 players, it's just hilarious how one person of the right OP class using every consumable and exploit under the sun can still technically win the game for his team. I kinda wish we had Arathi basin so the typical alliance mind set would change and they would actually roll more DPS classes/specs instead of turning the bg's into a circus for 45 minutes.

Actually if we had a timer on bg's or had a debuff over time to weaken a flag carrier that might also force alliance to change their playstyle. Sadly this is vanilla so 1 hour turtles are perfectly fine to some of you guys as long as you ''win'' lol.

That's easy. All the players who use consumables also fall into the bad to average player category

Its realistically the same discussion. Good and bad players. I joke to a certain extent but its ridiculous

we actually used to play in the same guild in tbc/wrath i cant remember which cause my memory is shot but who cares not important. i agree with most of what youre saying. but even if we did want to change consumable use (not saying i do), there's honestly not enough 19s that use this forum board to cause a significant amount of change in the entire bracket. with almost 10+ wsg up at a time after the merge the chance youll get a game of likeminded consumable rules agreed twinks is close to none. also no one enjoys facerolling pugs, i dont, i want good games too. But too many alliance are rolling with 6 man + premades of lame classes to not eat a swiftpot or 2 a game. Yesterday I swear 60% of my solo/duo queues were into alli premades of over 5 (3 or 4 of them into a full 8 or 10) and i queued more than 12 games easy. Also how are we gonna talk about consumables and just ignore dwarfs jumping through fences and act like that should happen but swiftness pots are broken. like come on were talking about little advantages here, +300 hp from a healing pot and a little bit of dispellable move speed from swiftness pots. often time all a swiftness pot does is make up for a dwarf fence jump. thats equal in my eyes. its not that big of a deal, sorry poor people cant afford things.

For real alliance have been on that BS lately.

you on west coast huh

i already clarified above it was a bad example did you read the posts? do you have anything actually thought out / insightful to say? or just trash talk about stuff i already cleared up? you want to talk about enchants? nice 15 agility hunter twisted chantlers staff picture, you must be new.

It was a very bad example. It was a good example that you don’t know what you’re talking about though.
Are you on west coast?

gotta love a hunter talking about making things "fair". get out. also if youre a rogue you should have multiple weapons with different enchants. two 15 agi, 1 sader, 1 life steal, 2 fiery. opening with 15 agility for a crit and hot swapping to fiery is a great option. should we make "rules" against this sort of weapon swapping now as well because people dont have mains to farm gold? i dont think you know anything. keep talking about coasts tho because you have nothing constructive to say.

These west coast tinkers are another breed, had some baddie earlier get triggered cuz he ran away from all of us and decided to die out of range of a re-pick after I called him out. Had another baddie last night on alliance just sit around trying to hunters mark me all game, she/he didn't even care about the objective anymore. West coasties are bad man, very low skill imo. I like fast games but the quality of the people playing them has went down I think, lots of trash floating around in the gulch.
