EU+US Tence's Guide to Scumbag Healing

Hello all, thought I'd share my new and improved healing guide.

First off, you want a lot of haste, ideally more than any of your other healers. This is because you want your heals go off first so that everyone else wastes mana and you look better on meters (everyone knows meters are all that matters).

Topping meters are all that matters period. This isn't about the actual win, this is about the moral victory and looking good.

Sit way way back almost max range from the engagement, that way when your offence eventually loses to the 8 man premade/exploited in 29s you can easily high tail it out of there to avoid any embarrassing screenshots later.

If you think you might die, throw down a picnic or two in mid, everyone knows combat when picnics are down is forbidden.

Avoid arenas at all costs, arenas are only for try-hards and 19s that accidentally leveled.

I'll think of more tips/tricks later but these should help you start to top meters in no time!

Bumping this up with some tips/tricks to start getting noticed more by other players within the community!

Stack as many passive buffs as possible, the more the better. I recommend one to two macros you press at the start of every bg to get everything ready. This gives a clear message to the other team members and enemies that you are better than everyone else and should be avoided at all costs. There is actually a hidden buff blizzard implemented that gives a +1% primary stat increase for each of these buffs. Not many are aware of it yet so keep this on the DL before they patch it.

Use any and all toys that cause audio effects with a small cooldown to every ability you have. My preferred one is the goblin weather machine. The idea is to wake audio warfare on all those weirdos that play with game sounds on and make them hate you. Works best in group queuing. Use at your own risk, I will not be held accountable for the psychological trauma this causes.

Get a name that is short, easy to remember, rhymes with everything, and ideally works with a few puns. Bonus points for actually puns in the name as this makes the whole process more streamlined and efficient. @Prime Al is a master of this.

Transmog. I could go on for threads about the psychological effect on the player and those around them on the benefits of a solid well designed transmog. Its just facts that a team that looks good players better. More than that though it says everything others need to know about you without even having to meet you. Do they go for the cookie cutter transmogs? Probably kinda boring people and just play druid/shaman. Do they make something unique and well thought out? Probably awesome people irl, great potential friend material and likely plays a Holy Paladin/other tier 3 garbage class. Do they not even try? Probably is a boomer/plays a hunter/mage. There's the rumor/story of druids/mages/shamans that also do transmog quite well but these people are similar to bigfoot/the lock ness monster/half life 3 and probably don't actually exist.

Hope these tips helped you get noticed more within the community especially now that everyone's going to be isolating themselves inside (and obviously just playing wow all day) in the coming weeks. Wash your hands, stay healthy and don't die!

I don't even twink a healer... but the secrets that @tence has revealed possess a power that cannot be overstated.

A single reading has not only enabled my ProtPally to top the healing in every BG... but it's also eliminated all disconnects, cured me of CoViD-19, and resurrected my childhood corgis.

14/10 they're good dogs Brent.

Thank you for these amazing tips! This helped me finish my college degree and now I'm 3500 arena rating! WOW!
