I'll be very interested to see if we manage to find a non-RareNPC source of "downscaled" gear... but I worry that the underlying-mechanic will be so insanely-infrequent that it'll deprive us of any meaningful "data" analysis.

The various Azshara-RareNPCs have some slight differences in their loot-tables... only General Fangferror and Lady Sesspira should possess an oLvl high-enough to drop Revenant Chestplate.

In my experience they varied between 60-90min, except for The Evalcharr which was 12-18hrs.

Got the Breastplate of General Fangferror

Was even a little bit tragic as my inventory was full and I was in holy gear but had the Retribution bar. So I couldn't use half my skills and had aggro of 4 mobs.
