Love the influx of Ally twinks but...

All the awesome horde twinks are coming ally and soon enough it'll be facerolling horde every game!

Lol, contradicting to previous statements I've made I know. But NEW ally twinks are appreciated so horde can keep the competition alive..

Guess I needa go horde now then. Brb ele shaman

HAHA, to be honest seems like ally have tons more twinks atm than horde our horde guild has been super inactive lately last few nights not many or maybe im just missing them by the time i get on. Had a good game last night vs some of the WM ally guys, was 2/1 both teams had flag, Youb and another lock on D with Sonic holding flag, man wat a pain to try return haha - got there in the end.

I've noticed this too, within the last 3-4 weeks the number of ally twinks in bg's have matched or out matched the numbers on horde. Alliance win rates going up for sure.

Though queue times for horde don't seem any better tbh, I think horde just have more levelers wanting to get into some 30s bg's, it's acrually not uncommon to be the only/one of the only horde twinks in the battleground, just what i've seen at least.

Personally I hopped on the alliance train so i could actually get games in instead of being in queue 40mins for a 20 minute game. Wich is really only adding to the ratio problem tbh

Also really nobody horde side seems to want to roll heals, only have 2 classes to choose from vs 3 for alliance and having arguably the best one is always going to be a problem.

Yep. I have 2 38s with all their gear just leveling through turn ins and waiting on odds and ends like tidal charm - hunter and disc priest. I play the hunter more often bc solo queueing as a healer is quite frustrating if there's nobody really worth healbotting that ends up in the bg.

I also play to win, so I don't care if you're 100% bis and the best player I've ever seen if all you do is farm mid the whole game. I'm still not going to healbot you. To each their own, but that's just me.

Lol the number of horde twinks that have rerolled Alli and are playing in 39 now is small.

What happened is many horde 39 twinks who were sick of the queues and one sided games levelled to 49 or they have idled their char cos sick of queue times.I have seen a few in 49 on my alt.

So I shouldn't finish my FC druid and just play my horde twinks? KKTHNXCUINGAME
[doublepost=1582623014,1582622738][/doublepost]Just to rub my massive ego. I did it first. I roll alliance and now all horde want to roll alliance. Im a trend setter. Brb going 19s

I am not aware of any 39s moving to 49s but I know a lot of our guildies are leveling alliance toons on ashkandi and keen for some bgs sooner or later.

Hmm so sounds like just within the past few weeks ally have begun faceroling the horde?
That’s interesting timing... I recall creating my 39 just around then

edit: 38 not 39

Although I've kept an eye on this trend, I wouldn't say the balance has shifted as much as people have let on. I do think there's some extra incentive to go hard on an Ally twink, if you have short queues you might just play more.

Still though, there's only been a couple days where I couldn't get a win. I feel like there's often new twinks that I don't recognize Ally side, but then there's a lot of old names I don't see anymore too.

I do think the bracket has survived the initial imbalance though, and it should stay healthy as long as we all keep showing up.

I do have a 49 project going, since I duo leveled two hunters at once I figured on moving the other one to 49! Should be fun, only 43 now though.

I rolled up an orc shammy the other day that I'll eventually make a 49 ele. I'll probably play around with him in the 39 bracket for a while before moving him on too, but that's not a priority right now. Hell, both my 39s are still sitting at 38 at the moment.

Holy pallys a good healer, yeah. but let's be real y'all have the hardest hitting class in the bracket... Between ele and enhance shaman it's actually stupid. Ask any Ally and I gurantee they'll say they would prefer to have purge bots critting 1ks than the one random good pally you get in a game 1 out of ten times edit: idk where thebally healers u talk about are cause I'm constantly stuck with ret pallies and spriests

Between all those ele's and enhance shamans you ever spy a shaman healer? Enhance is madly inconsistent and ele is only so powerful when you build full glass. it's alright but I dont really see it carrying games tbh a warrior with pod puts out just as much or more damage than a pod shaman. I'd rather have my healer with 3 lives.-Bubbe/loh even bop is clutch af

i mean technically all shamans are healers. just because they dont use the heal doesnt mean they arent one. "on paper" horde have the better offheals class makeup in most games I am in.

I say "on paper" because just because someone has a heal button doesnt mean they know how to use it. remember.. they q'd up as DPS! lol

By this logic all paladins are healers too and ally teams are always paladin heavy

Shamans are incredibly powerful but more than spec-specific pros and cons, it's more about their ability to adapt to about every needed scenario! Elemental is a testament to that.

You've got a class that can range as well as dedicated caster classes, has the mana pool to heal (bloody well) without the need to switch gear and can melee (Staff of Jordan + WF) for up to 600 or so dmg and do a damn fine job of Flag carrying in a clutch. That's one spec. Not to mention their ability to control the field. How do I know? I play one. I switched from Resto to Ele for the simple fact that ele offers way more to the team than resto does and I really don't sacrifice anything except maybe lowered cast time of Ghost Wolf.

We have the ability to purge, silence, slow x 2, misdirect spells, buff other classes mid-battle, eliminate fear and sleep (AT RANGE) and remove poisons (AT RANGE) DPS amazingly at range or melee. All of these things are readily available with a maximum CD of 10 seconds.... 10 seconds. I'm not sure how anyone in their right mind can compare a Paladin to this. Every positive thing you guys have mentioned about pallies is a CD. So yes, LOH is great... every now and again.

I'll give you an example of just how stupid Shamans are at the moment. Ally team turtling, FC standing in flag spot around the corner with a priest healing it. Priest in line of sight, Druid (FC) not. Standing from the balcony, I was able to get both players to almost dead by using the priest as a lightning rod to hit the FC with chain. Once low, Nade stun, Goblin Mortor, Chain, dead. We're talking about a player with around 4k hp and a dedicated healer. So yes, they could have done more to stop me but fuck, that shouldn't be possible.

Give me one other class that can do this as offers as much to a team?

I can compare a paladin to this because.. I play one as well lol. I've played horde 39's for about 30,000 hk's worth of matches on my lock. We all know shamans can crit hard when free casting in a glass build, add grenades and goblin mortors of course a FC can drop. Same can be said with one smart rogue that has zerker and gets a solid death ray proc or even a fire mage.

Shamans are not as game changing as they make it out to be on the other hand i do feel like having a couple smart holy paladins can easily change the course of a match. A priest can dispell a fap just as easily as a shaman can yet everyone cries about purge all day, it might take an extra gcd but damn it's really not that big of a deal. I'm not going to bother listing all the benefits of a holy/prot pally on the field because most people know what they come with.

To me it really just seems like Shamans can look real pretty on the scoreboard but lose the match anyways while A pally can save actually save his team (Divine shield/LoH/Freedom/BoP) and get his FC across mid.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion i've just personally lost enough matches at this point with plenty of ele and pod shamans on my team that can't seem to stop a couple holy pally's and their druid FC running through mid.

and you're right Pally's are CD heavy, except freedom wich you can almost have up 100% of the time (lol). Once you actually put a team between you and them their a nightmare to deal though. Shaman's seem like they would be mobile but if their not in ghost wolf form and they get jumped say a warrior or rogue it becomes a duel to the death and this does not favor an ele who must cast to do damage, while a pally can not only get away but has two reset buttons for a fight.

I just don't see all the hype besides the I can make a cool crit video with my shaman trend.
