29 Mage DPS + CC gear

Wow another person making a mage -- Haven't seen at least 6 of these in every game this week!

There's a few items you can use to substitute if you're having difficulty some of the rare item rolls:
Nightsky Gloves
Nightsky Boots
Warsong Belt
Also, I think Acrobatic Staff of Stamina might be BiS if you are using Berylline Mantle over Acrobatic Staff of the Eagle.

You mage is using wrath+ gear. Literally in every slot. The only obtainable item (AB belt isn't in game atm) is the rune of perfection.

Are there that many mages these days? Was thinking about getting back into a mage but not if they everywhere!

Seems to be a lot of alliance mages, both FC and fire builds. I'm not seeing as many horde side. That being said if you wana play mage play it. It's a risk/reward class and can be very fun when mastered. There are a lot because its a fun class and also has a huge impact on the game. Don't not play a class just because there are already a lot of people playing it
