EU+US Resto Shaman: Int vs. Vers

if someone is dying they are generally low I don't know why everyone keeps assuming that it will be an overheal.

soooo it does make more sense to go haste then? if their low im not looking to "possibly" give them crit and give them more hp im looking to pick them up quickly.

and its a really common scenario were theres more than 1 healer healing but all those 3 or 4 potential casts from different healers couldnt even land simply because you were 10% slower at casting surge/light

Do you stack crit on the paladin too? May god have mercy on your soul...

Old information means nothing. Someone who got into vet twinking last week can have more useful information than you do.

I took a 3 month hiatus but I've been back and queuing basically every night for the past week or two. Queued that much before my hiatus too. I've seen you on your shadow priest way back, that was when epics were actually good, lol.

I actually stack haste tbh but it wouldn't matter if I stacked crit either because it wouldn't make any noticeable difference

Good, haste on hpal is best.

The argument of it not making a noticeable difference is just straight wrong, you have a number of active / credible healers in this thread saying that it is absolutely a noticeable difference.

Go ahead and test your own theory, make a set on your hpal that replaces the haste for crit and let me know if you notice a difference in performance / playstyle.

This shit soooo dumb lol op never mentioned anything except vers and int
The prospect of focusing more vers than int is dumb. That question doesnt spark debate like this one does.

I know the difference and it is not noticeable at all and will not be gamechanging enough to save anyone that is not going to die anyways. I have been playing my holy paladin a lot this xpac to try multiple different sets out/

If were talking against easy teams, I agree completely.

It sounds like you havent played many twink v twink games.

I have a healing set completely different for when facing tough Horde teams that focuses heavily on balancing vers and haste while trying to get as close as possible to 21% haste without sacrificing too much. My regular vers heavy set is only for easy games.

I have played in a ton of twink vs twink games I may not be the best twink of all time but I know it is not going to make any difference. You will not get above 1.3 second cast inside bgs scaled without sacrificing intellect prove me wrong post a screenshot.

why do people do this it is literally the stupidest thing ever I am replying to 2 different answers lmao

1.4 > 1.3.

so you've tried out multiple sets and settled on haste.

Why?

Because of the reasons that everyone said, but if I have to be brutally honest it doesn't even make any difference its just being really anal about nothing.

1.4 > 1.3.
1.4 with 5+% more crit = 1.3 with 5% less crit doesn't matter

This motherfucker...

so you've tried out crit and haste and settled on haste because it gives faster gcds and faster heals and you find that crits really just lead to over healing.

But people should stack crit.

Got it.

I went haste because everyone says its the best to stack for healers but I actually tested multiple sets and found out for myself firsthand experience that it did not make any noticeable difference either way and why do people keep assuming your going to overheal if you crit please just stop it

and if you look back on all of this I keep saying crit = haste l2read once again

know it is not going to make any difference

if fc will die in 13 sec unless they get 10 casts, and u can only get off 9, then the 0.1 saved someone, it mattered, the crit u got on the 5th cast and 8th cast didnt matter they just overhealed

it doesn't matter at all what you choose to stack and there is no telling if it is going to overheal or save them
