best solo q class?

Rogue is probably the most fun. You can pick your targets and sneak to efc.

Sap off weaker toons and 1 shot them.

Slow efc with sap.

They do decent damage too.

Other than that, I'd say hunter. You can do a lot of work as a hunter if u put the effort into making one properly.

Hey guys, here's my best class list for the solo queue format. Just my opinion so feel free to make your own list! :)

Warrior: N/A
Rogue: N/A
Mage: N/A
Warlock: N/A
Priest: N/A
Hunter: Pick this one.
Druid: N/A
Paladin: N/A
Shaman: N/A

No memes I think warrior can be strong too. Has the damage to pressure EFC, can slow/interrupt key players, and is very hard to kill so it can kind of FC depending on comps and how good your enemy is at denying pick/cross. Getting peeled is an issue but being creative with your positioning and dropping combat can net you a lot of uptime.

Frost mage could be argued. They open a lot of doors for their team. As do shaman

Hunter most well rounded tbh, disgusting class @19. A good mage i feel makes games twice as hard.

Have you seen hunter at 19

@Quackbesteu Priest is probably the most frustrating class to play solo queue in my experience. A majority of your pugs consists of levelers with <600 hp and bad twinks. Not to mention the opposing team having 3+ Rogues every game.

Pally/sham aside (faction-base)

Rogue / Hunter / Mage

High dmg + good cc / good dmg + good cc / low dmg + High cc

You just need to ask yourself what style you want to have and what impact you plan on having in wsg. You can guess what you should be doing once you find answers to those questions.

IMO it should be a class that can create advantages. Paladin FC is very good at maintaining ground but not really gaining ground. I don't know a ton about being on O as paladin but it's definitely really good at just running around and not dying with the flag.

Potential for mage is completely determined by your team IMO. Mages are the kings of manipulating the enemy team but if your team doesn't make plays off of that then mage is much less effective due to low damage.

I think a good rogue or a good hunter can hardcore influence a game singlehandedly regardless of what your team is doing. Warrior can too in the right hands. All of these classes have good utility, are annoying to kill, and range from high to very high damage, rogue obviously being the highest.

As neebler said above, warrior is a lot better than I would have initially thought solo qing, and you can fill a lot of roles

Communication before the BG even starts and providing locations during is the biggest impact you can have solo. This makes Hunters particularly suited for solo q.
