How's Your Classic Twink Progress?

I had the same thought process while looking at pet talents. Until I know the exact numbers, I am going with resists > armor. Cat's talents are stretched pretty thin, too.

I chose boar > cat because you can be really cute with CC layering with stuff like Freezing Trap / Scatters into a Charge, but I don't have the muscle memory to do all the fancy pet stuff, yet. Outofspace had a really good point too - a boar will have a lot better uptime than a cat because it has two gapclosers opposed to a cat's one.

I think pet choice is mostly personal preference TBH. Wolf will give you the best highlight reels, Cat is gonna be great for the caster MU, and Boar is probably the best for memelee survival. I just wish we had ravagers in classic.

I plan on doing a breakdown video of the difference between 0 30 and 60 res on pets / difference between 0-2/2 Trap mastery for resists.

They appear to share cooldown.

edit- not saying they aren't better in that way, but it's going to either/or never and. Have both but choose situationally.

Looking forward to it! I was just thinking all the CC schools were priority... but that just leaves fire to only do 30 for me.

Natural armor was only like 3-4% more reduction, and of course only against physical attacks. Definitely favoring resists. I have the boar and the cat, got two pets to 39/best friend. Will likely tire of the cat tho, unless bracket gets super-clothy.

But... I mean it's the 1.0 cat so I gotta try just for classic sake. :p

So my twinking journey started with a 29 rogue (rogues are overrated and not as good as people think) I had a ton of fun until i made a 29 hunter and oh my goodness if I didnt feel the power shift when i started playing hunter. I can carry games a lot easier. Im about to ding 39 on my warlock twink as we speak and I have full BIS waiting for me in my bank. I made a 19 priest that is a lot of fun but 19 just seems so boring to me. Also i have religiously checked the AH everyday for a pathfinder helm of the monkey or even falcon for my hunter. I have yet to see that item on the AH in almost 2 months of checking
 
How long did it take you guys (playtime) to finish your 39?

I hit ~72 hours played before I 'finished'. The 30-35 stretch drags...

Well put it this way, mine still arnt finished and probably wont be for like a year, not done till i get AGMs hahah and at the rate im getting trikets it mite be longer than a year :)
I thought the 30s was the best bit because you could start putting gear on
 
By the time I get around to finally being near done, i'm burned out on that toon and don't want to play it at all. Lol.

But I did the same thing in classic/BC so it's kinda funny to see history repeat itself.
 
just about done. i have the basic hemo set equipped and enchanted, now it's engineering and alternate enchant bag gear.

etc.

Just waiting for P3, so I can get 22 int on double nordic and 15 agi vanq/nordic. As well as my neck and ring.

Nice horde needs more range twinks, to many shammies and warrs hahah :) thats why im making a hunter and priest haha benach the melee guys for abit

Edit : Was watching ya video and noticed the rogues name is Tapout, i remember a female orc rogue back in my 29 days with that name, my rogue was Eatmyknife, wondering if its the same guy.

If you wanted a challenge (and far shorter queues) you could have rolled the side with fewer twinks.
