Dual wield 39 war

How viable is it? I was thinking of running with Ardent Custodian and Vanquisher's Blade. Would I miss a lot in instanced pvp and would double crusader be the best?

Thanks

Pretty sure it's always going to be inferior to arms, especially PoD or something similar as their 2h. Just no contest.

Also not very impressed with ardent as a weapon at all for anything not prot/shield spec. Purple doesn't mean "good".

Gotchu, I'm very aware of that 2h build is gonna be best, just wanted to check on the viability. The Ardent has pretty good high end damage tho doesn't it.

It's viable, although slightly gimped, but you should still go deep into Arms imo. Bonebreaker is going to be BiS MH until you get WSG sword. Double Crusader is one of the only reasons to do it though, not really a lot going for it otherwise.

EDIT: Also it became more of a thing in TBC when Whirlwind started using both weapons and you could get a lot more double procs.

It has a good DPS number, but the damage range isn't spectacular. You can see these two examples, one bought and one "free" from an instance boss drop. The WSG sword will be much better whenever those get released too, hopefully soon.

edit- here's that sword (cant wait for that patch drop) https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19552/legionnaires-sword
