Consumables in general.

Same.

Isn't the core of Twinking to min/max your gameplay? why wouldn't you use speed pot/thistle tea/rocket boots/discomb to have an advantage or counterplay your oppenent, especially in pug where most team are imbalanced. Also keep in mind those consumable share CD with Healing potions and Bombs which can impact a game more than a speed boost.

If you can't afford the best consumable it doesn't mean i have to stop myself from using them, same goes with gear.

Would you prefer a game where everyone has speed pots or nobody has speed pots?

Doesn't matter its either speed pots or healing pots, both can win games.

Answer the question. Then apply that logic to all consumables and you should discover where you actually stand.

That's the original idea of twinking, but it's since evolved. Now a days, I think twinking is about playing WSG for the main purpose of competitive game play, and not honor/rep grinding.

Your question, whatever the response given lead to the same result. It would just make things equals, which is what Blizzard did after Wrath of the lich king, i think you played retail pvp for so long you forgot where the core of twinking came from, anything that can give an advantage should be welcomed and hated by those getting affected by it. If you can't deal with it there is always another version of WoW where consumable are prohibited and where your Power is equals to anyone in your Battleground, Twink or not.

I honestly think if you use a speed pot to make up for bad positioning on an objective play you are a literal sociopath

MY question still remains. How come GOOD mechanical and objective players refuse to use them as opposed to shitters who are bad at both aspects prefer it...

Were reaching new heights, the use of a consumable now determine a personality disorder

Yet, the GOOD mechanical and objective players complain about it all the times? just use them for fuck sake. If your already a god without consumable, imagine with them!

Welp from a retail fc pov, imagine a situation where you should’ve been able to kite w/ more than 5 stacks but some sociopathic boomer comes speedpotting at you from literal Sub Saharan Africa

I guess you were not good enought to survive a sprinting rogue.

I think that for many the “core of twinking” has long since moved away from accumulating as large of an advantage as you can to smash levelers.

The players I’ve met that are anti-consumable are interested promoting a competitive experience (but ofc how people define that will vary heavily). Imo, since 19 wsg depends so heavily on macro play and positioning, speed pots (and really any buff/consumable that affects mobility outside of the spellbook) have a negative impact on “competitive” gameplay.

Very well said.
