BIS gear/talents: 29 rogue

So I found out the hard way, either you have to be on that elementals quest to get that quest or at least the right level.

Pretty sure you need to have the quest to kill the elementals and scout the pagoda... annoying.

Me too. I killed him 3 times tonight, a mage shared the quest with me and he dropped it the next kill.

Respecced 2/18 like was posted by out and goddamn that shit owns lol. Forgot how good combat was, I was doing good with 15/5 but this is definitely a lot better.

Did you go 2 into Malice? I'm thinking about trying Remorseless Attacks for basically 40% crit on next SS which would be huge for multiple targets

I have picked up one point in it for some builds and consider that to be worthwhile. That passive crit from Malice is really helpful though, not sure I would burn both into it...

iirc you only have to do it once each, basically complete the yellow one-off quest and unlock the blue repeatable quests. but i could be wrong.

Seems alright, although right off the bat they don't even have the BiS belt for horde pre-AB.

doesn't list razzerics either, everything else looks ok.

With 15 agi coming out on the 12th I've been thinking if it's worth it to replace weapon chain on my vendetta? I really love the weapon chain it's basically game over for other rogues and warriors, the only classes I ever really have trouble with.

what about crusader vs 15 agi? I got an extra zealot so definitely getting 15 agi on that, I figure constant 15 agi beats the heal and 100 str but could it be good in certain circumstances?

Not going to address every single point in this thread, but all of these are unquestionably true.

1. Swords is better than Daggers for Premades. Daggers is competitive in Pug games, and blowing people up is fun.
2. Claw mainhand with 5 weapon damage and Vendetta offhand with 15 agility
3. If you're going to go the AP route its generally best to go pure AP. You don't have the survivability of a sword rogue, so an extra 100-200 health is negligible here. You want to find a solo target and kill them in an ambush/backstab/thistle tea rotation. Stack AP/Tiger gear everywhere you can.
4. Butcher is a trash weapon for rogues. Zealot Blade all day.
5. Most of the proc enchants (Crusader, Lifestealing, Fiery) are all viable for your mainhand sword enchant, but generally 15 agility offhand is always correct.
6. When possible with sword spec its correct to stack as much stam as possible. You are not a burst class as a sword rogue. You're a CC/Utility class with a fair amount of sustained damage.
7. Related to #6, basically always spec combat. Imp Sprint, Riposte, and 5% hit are godly in this bracket.

Harbinger Boots are perfectly fine. Also, if you can find AP boots they're reasonable as well. 22AP is BiS AP
