I mean I was in ruin and you really didn’t see it all that often it was occasional though. I was on zuljin with @McGriddles during BC. Either way that’s nearly irrelevant anyway. I just don’t think that’s how blizzard intended it to be played and it is toxic to new/non elitist players. Again I don’t care and I’ll do it as long as other people do it and I don’t get a message from a gm :p

Haha I posted about this on the discord not long ago, be careful fellas, blizzard is about the masses these days, theyll just ban your ass if people keep reporting u. Is there really need to use the jumps? , don't get me wrong I used to do that shit back in the day and it was fun as shit ( ally rogue in vanilla and tbc - bloodlust BG - Eatmyknife ) but now I'm abit older I look back and just relize I was just being a dog shit cunt playing like that, it ruins the game for casual players, twink v twink do what ya want they arnt going to report u, but vs casual peeps/ levers I wouldn't, they maon and report, it's not worth it. But hey its your acc at the end of the day haha.
 
can definitely confirm these jumps were in full use back in tbc/wrath on the nightfall battlegroup
 
always found jumps (excluding maybe tot jumps seeing as theyre half acceptable) cringe because its mostly the fcs with dogshit field awareness that use them to make up for their bad decision making

only reason they even get away with doing this shit in classic is cos of how low overall damage is compared to the last like 4 retail expansions where theyd just get smoked in the process of trying to pull them off

Usually the ones who couldn't pull off the jumps smoothly would get chopped in any bracket. I'll never forget chasing maryjr around fence down gy, around the horde logs and back up gy. Jumps done right doesn't make up for bad decision making, it opens up a huge variety of new decisions to make. Talking about kiting jumps anyways, any out of bounds bs is dumb but that's a personal opinion.
 
When a Priest jumps up and 90% of your team doesn't know how to jump up top of tunnel roof, it is cheating. What are you to do if your not the right class? A hunter is never going to melee down a Priest. The roof is LoS if you hunker back and this is a clear exploit.
I report it every time I see it and will continue to do so.
But more importantly than my opinion on the subject I opened a ticket about it to Blizzard. They said "Any time someone is doing something that is clearly not intended to work the way that it's working, that is a terrain exploit and we can assist".
Keep reporting away. I know I will.

IDK man that used to just act as a learning experience and people would try the jumps afterwards so that next time they don't lose. It's different now apparently everyone needs a fair chance.

Edit: and as for the priest, get your group gathered and run her off, a rogue or warrior in close quarters could totally force that. Then the hunters there to Twink all over him

sorry but if 90% of your team doesn't have first aid, at least 1k health, a decent weapon, ect... then what is cheating?

if 90% of your twinks can't do the simple jumps like horde fence and the entrance to tunnels they likely don't know that you can use your mouse to move your character.

lets ban Line Of Sight and fake casts because these dumb fuck players who OBVIOUSLY didn't play 19s at any point from vanilla - cata only know how to turn with their keyboards.
 
I'm not talking premades. You can easily get a team that doesn't know the jumps. It ruins the game, it's not fun and it's not fair.
None of that matters though anyways. Blizz said it's a reportable exploit. So do what you want, but many of us are just going to report away.
 
Out of bounds jumps is a nono. The others? Sure! Imo it makes the WSG map so much more diverse considering I have other options to move around as an FC instead of the “usual” paths the map already offers.

lol you donut just run the long way around and you can reach top of tunnel on both sides, jumps isnt the only way up there

You do have to jump to get into the mid level tunnel roof. It is LoSed. As a hunter you have to melee once you are up there. This takes the FC away from everyone not in the position to get up or anyone uneducated on the exploit. It is cheating regardless of anything stated here anyways.
Luckily Blizz has our backs on this one. Stay down or get banned : )

you do realize you can fall from the top level to mid/2nd level of tunnel right? literally 0 jumps required
