Shaman Discussion

Hello everyone, I plan to create a Shaman Twink, and I would like to have your feedback when the best way to optimize it.

I planned to equip it with Defias, with wrist glove waist and boots, leather, intel / stam.
I think this is one of the best stuff for soloQ, the armor supply of the leather set will be very useful against the mass of rogue / hunt.

My main question concerns the choice of weapons:

What would be the best weapon / enchantment mix for you?
I have a 1hand +7healing, i think go for +55healing on it for switch when i heal.
Can't choose if Evocator Blade go for +20spirit or +22intel.
I heard that Venomstrike is cool with +30sp, but not sure.
Finally which weapon to use for dps, with fiery or lifestealing? Skeletal Club or Assassin's Blade ?

Also Deadskull shield +7stam and Arctic Buckler +9spirit is fine?

Thank you all, do not hesitate to give your opinion and ask your questions.

Stay away from Spirit unless you are building an out of combat swap set. I think you have the right idea overall though. You'll definitely need something with 22 Int, but it would be good to have a 55 Healing as well. Shields are pretty close, but Deadskull has a bit more tankyness. I like the club for sham in this bracket, wouldn't hurt to have one with Crusader either.

You're going to want to be on offense mostly, taking down flag holding turtlers is your best roll.

Think you mean Stinging Viper. Venomstrike is a bow.

For crusader? Yes. Gutterblade is good on alliance too.

Honestly I just prefer it all around. I find Evoc blade to be useless for melee and the Int on it isn't even worth a weapon swap imo.

I am going with this: https://sixtyupgrades.com/set/sfmdhy4dLv9cdiSDswgPYU

I think the points of contention are:
Treebark Jacket vs. Blackened Defias Chest
Leggings of the Fang vs. Scouting Trousers of the Eagle
Jutebraid Gloves vs. Scouting Gloves of the Eagle vs. Magefist Gloves
Ring 2 in general
Grizzled Boots vs. 4/4 Eagle Boots
Weapon in general (though I am positive +22 Int is better than +55 Healing)

IMO the build I have seems pretty balanced in terms of Stam/Int/Str. I think the real disappointment is there is no good Mace in 19. One of the 3 good daggers could be better, but there doesn't seem to be a consensus.

I'd do 5/5 Concussion, 2/2 Earth's Grasp, 3/5 Ancestral Knowledge or Shield Spec.

i personally am going more for this build...

Edit: this doesn't factor in the librams for some reason... So it's actually supposed to be +315 mana, including the 5% additional from talents.

My reasoning for this build is that i feel in a premade sense, not solo que... My best value is in my purge/earth shock kicks/off-heals, as i don't do too much dmg tbh. So i wanted to go for a build that gave me enough hp to survive, but also as MUCH mana past that point as possible, hence why i went with ~1200 hp, and then everything else into mana. Once 22 int comes out, i will be using this on wep mainly. Once 20 fire damage to gloves comes out, i will be using this as well. Other than that, it's basically about sticking to this build!

This is more of a premade build, like i said... So i don't know if it would be amazing solo que, but once 20 fire damage comes out, i'm sure this is a good power booster.

Let me know your thoughts on this, as i see most everyone else is going for the melee shaman more. So i'd love your input.
