Warsong Gulch & Using jumps to Jump off the map

I know this used to be used on private servers etc but I was wondering if this is considered an offense on official classic wow?

I'd refrain from jumping out of bounds that's just boring and most likely will get you suspended/banned. But the typical jumps you can find around WSG if i'm not mistaken has always and will always be a clever use of game mechanic and isn't a bannable offense. Don't take my word for it, I'll continue to jump around like a crazy person though.

Jumps that take you out of bounds or off the map are exploits. Jumps like the one that takes you through the middle of Ally barrier along the ramp are in more of a grey area. Some people would consider it an exploit, others would say 'clever girl'. My policy is to know all the jumps and be able to chase anyone down who's using them.

In some extreme cases I have matched the enemy in taking the flag out of bounds, but I would only ever do that after they have proven to brazenly exploit and you gotta match fire with fire. Still, I could have just as easily been reported and there would be no recourse.

Its been said that any jump that is not completable by every race and sex is an exploit. I disagree with that but out of bounds is definitely exploiting. You can wait an hour to report the ass or you can learn the jump and go kill them. I usually just go kill the person, assuming its an FC

I would imagine that since WSG has no time limit in Classic, that anyone in an unhittable location like one of the roof hidden areas will eventually get reported and then after some time quite possibly a GM will ask them to get down.

PVP was never Blizzard's focus and their solution to map alterations was to take the original brilliant design and make the graveyards farmable. :p

Now i understand why Horde twink FC disapeared from the map / nowhere to be found at ally base for like 10min in 3 different games today. I guess this is getting popular?
It's pretty bad for the bracket though (imo).

Yeah it's bad for every bracket. Pretty big bummer that the off map stuff was never addressed. Still I think it's usually trash players doing it, and they are usually pretty beatable by hero twinks.

Any out of bounds is bad but kiting jumps have always been a thing i thought. Ally gy/tun horde tun and fence jumps ect should all be ok but if people report they might drop that hammer
