19 Hunter Twink Weapons

Before I grind for medicine pouch I want to get some answers. Is 2h better or 1h with medicine pouch? 1h punch offers better stats, but the 2h packs more punch when you need to melee. Thoughts?

Twisted with +22 int, Twisted with +15 agi, Nightreaver with something for melee, Staff of the Friar with +20 spirit. That should be everything you will need. Med Pouch on a hunter seems absurd to me - if you aren't raptor striking all the time on people in this bracket I dunno what game you're playing.

This is what I was thinking. Raptor striking occurs often enough that the Medicine Pouch might not even get used.

Is nightreaver the clear winner for melee dps? Switch to it as someone gets close?

I got tcs with 9int currently, got a +8 agi green axe to enchant with 25 agi when phase 3 drops. Use tcs till mans low and then switch to 8 agi axe.

I think so, but it's a little finicky because if you're going from Twisted > Nightreaver you're cutting off that 6 stam. I think it's a clear winner if you've already taken 60 pts of damage though. Runner up being Runic Dark Blade.

IMO, using Runic Darkblade would be better than nightreaver I think? If you are playing hunter, you hopefully aren't standing there meleeing, so you want to do as much damage per hit as possible - basically wingclip, raptor strike as you are running away. Runic Darkblade has higher base damage than Nightreaver, so it would be preferable for that purpose- though you do not get the +1-5 shadow damage per hit, so not sure if that might be a difference maker. Regardless, RD is free so if you are strapped for cash its a nice grab in place of NR

Yeah I would have to agree with you, except for one situational thing. Orcs should still be using Nightreaver to utilize their axe skill bonus. Should be good for +.2 hit ,+.2 crit, -.2 dodge, -.2 parry, -.2 block for a total of at least 1% more chance to strike most enemies.

Also we'd need to know a bit more about proc rates to be sure, because Nightreaver has a much higher dmg proc. I remember the darkblade procing like a lot, and if that is also true for the Nightreaver it's dmg could be much higher.

Yes because you totally need the mass intellect(meh w/e better than str i guess)

And you must be in melee range at all times

seriously I have nothing against you but hunter only needs two stats and its agil and stamina its not rocket science..one doesnt need a nightreaver lol. Unless you are some sort of fail theorycraft imp wingclip spam all rands in mid bitch slave support spec that rushes in there and spams wing clip everywhere until it dies repeatedly 20+ times there is no reason to use chanters

Have you played a 19 hunter? They definitely have a need for a decent amount of int. I have tc+9 int, lavishly jeweled ring and I wish I had more int most the time. You'd be surprised how fast you blow through all your mana kiting another twink with high hp.

I like my mana and yes, I regularly will switch to monkey aspect and raptor strike the shit out of rogues or whoever for some of the biggest burst you can deliver. There's literally no reason not to weapon swap or at least use something other than a monkey axe.

They obviously use the least amount of mana at this lvl but not by much and they also do the least amount of dmg at this lvl. My 29 and 39 hunter was crazy dps compared to 19. Multi shot is 100 mana, cc 50, sting 45, arcane 35, wing clip 40. It adds up fast when you only have 1100 mana.
