Friend and I are making 39s on Smolderweb Alliance.

He will be running priest(healer). Looking for a talent Build for him. was messing around a little bit but cant figure a great one to go..

I will be rolling a Warrior(buddy found a cheap PoD on AH) i know most of the armor.. Is the 29 cloak the best cloak atm? and again What talent build is best?

Thanks

You opened saying that they were going to run a priest healer - but then you posted a shadow build?

Here's what I think you want to run as a healer priest in a duo comp with a warrior. Here's your gear template.

Here's what I think you should run as the warrior, but there's also Piercing Howl build worth checking out. Here's your gear template.

There's flexibility on everything here, telent points, gear, but the only thing an SP should be duoing with is a lock.

Is slam utilized much in the 39 bracket?

Not that I know of. A big problem with fury builds are that you don't have enough crit to make it sing. With the 5% from Fury talents and even trying to pick up extra crit from gear you can only push like 12%.

Arms/Fury build can get you up to 16% which still sucks but hey, it's classic, and at least you'll have 65%+ crit on Overpower. I could honestly see trying this Fury build, but I am highly skeptical of skipping out on Tactical Mastery and Imp OP. To say that you'll be fighting a lot of rogues is, well, an understatement.

facts regarding the rogue comment. I have a spare POD...wondering If I should make a warrior or sell it. Currently have a very well stacked shaman with multiple gear sets. Sitting at like 23% crit with an agi pot @ level 38. Would hate to sell a POD if I could make a warrior. They seem beastly

I mean if you have a 39 shammy and a PoD you should probably do that. Honestly both PoD war and shaman are kinda just for the lols. When I would fight real battles on my PoD war I'd spend half the time with sword and board on because you are going to be ccd so hard. With support though I would say warrior edges shaman out for most damage potential and fun.

I would go Ardent Custodian with the Aegis for maximum on the fly mitigation. Bonebreaker or Hammer of the Righteous are top picks for actually fighting, until Gulch sword.

Here's my prot mitigation build for reference.
