Originals are back!

Islands normally yeah, but I prefer time walking, in raids you get like 250 and dungeons you get like 40 per boss. dang 388 trinket is good, I think there is one more time walking event with raid during the anniversary so I would take advantage of that but im not sure I didn't recently check. Not sure about 378 I think they do but not sure, the only ones for those slots I have gotten are war forged and they certainly outclass my Azerite gear at least in PvP where the powers are nerfed and I think are equal or slightly better in PvE but not sure, but i imagine it depends on class and spec and what you are looking for in the powers and stats.

5 a day would be darn something, even two a day takes a bit, max 119s for me would definitely be 3.

Much easier to do it via follower missions. If you have a 120, u just gotta make 650 resources every several days, trade it in for a 500 resource boa from rep vendor, then mail it to 119. I’ve been doing that for a few months now. Works wonders and I haven’t had to go into any islands for a long ass time.

Monelite Whetstone (also from rep vendor / ah) and platinum whetstone (blacksmithing/ah) will give you a total sum of 15% additional success chance per follower
 
Yeah follower missions help a lot, but without timewalking, islands are the only other repeatable way that I know of. Heck if you get a 388 warforged neck with the trinket as long as you get 388 in a lot of the other slots you shouldnt need a high Heart, since the necks still count for ilvl even if they arent ever really as good as the Heart in stats.

Mechagon rares are 100/kill once a day. More fun than any sort of grinding since you can also do some WPvP.

You can fly to Mechagon directly from NW Drustvar, there's no fatigue meter.

A couple of months ago I got 1000 azerite twice from an item off https://www.wowhead.com/npc=153205/gemicide (you need it to be Drill Rig day in Mechagon to have a chance of him spawning). It hasn't dropped for me since though, so it may have been hotfixed to only drop for 120s - or I was just unlucky since.
 
I literally only log into retail to do this event, no interest whatsoever in anything endgame. I didn't even bother to get that deathwing mount because I just don't care to be bothered with this crap. Changes coming next xpac look good tho.

Even classic is wearing on me already. We'll see if the BG early release gets me going, but WoW is the worst its ever been.

I still need to finish mechagnomey rep for pathfinder.... gave up at revered I think... just not interested. No desire.

Not crying I should get anything for nothing, just accepting to not have than to bother getting.

Yeah I was just thinking about Mechagon yesterday right after I made that post and found the rares gave 100 azerite, but I didn't remember from the last time I ran to Mechagon(Mount with Water-Walking, think I unlocked a flight path back) if it worked for 119s.Sadly you cannot get to Nazjatar except by summoning I heard(unless they fixed that) so I guess Mechagon is another good way to go. I never thought about it much since all the quests there require 120 that I know of sadly.
 
You can farm azerite in Mechagone even as 110. There is one particular rare that can drop 1000 azerite but it's up 1 or 2 days in a week the rest gives 100 per kill per day.
 
fuck this rng bullshit. I usually dont rage but Im wayyy behind other people that were otherwise behind me before this event.

I am pessimistically awaiting devastating disappointment when its the final few days and I'm still missing tons of drops.... I'd like for them to drop but you never know. Sometimes I try and just treat it as if it's predetermined from the first day I started.

Before this event I was dueling pretty close duels with people who were half-decent at pvp and were at the 250k health range (410 ilvl give or take). Haven't tried since then because I just want to see the difference when Im done with this event.

Only asking because in my opinion, ret is one of those classes that is in it's own tier compared to some others, mostly from what I've personally experienced with my 110 ret.
