Why Twink?

Seriously why? Not judging but higher level pvp in classic is actually fun and not this bs that exists in retail. I kill players 5 or 6 levels above me from time to time. It's not the norm but it's so satisfying when I do. Do you all not like the higher level pvp? Whats not to like? Not saying I won't make a twink. If it's a very competitive bracket then I probably will. If it's just bashing levelers then I'm not interested.

80% of people making 19’s do it for the competition/community. I don’t personally know one person who does it just to repeatedly kill levellers I don’t know why people even look at it like that

I didn’t play vanilla personally mainly played tbc onwards for arenas etc, but finding a good game of WSG against a decent team is a lot more exciting to me than end game pvp.

I mean what's the thrill of end game pvp in classic, either world pvp yourself to boredom or deal with all the no life players pushing for rank 14 with their full tryhard premades every game when battlegrounds actually release, not to mention the absolute cakewalk of end game pve content including Naxx, for the most part world pvp isn't "competitive" it's normally either a 60 ganking a low level, or a 60 attacking someone who's already in combat with a mob or someone who has like 50% health

A few reasons for me personally:

1. WSG is my favorite BG, and I think mounts ruin it.
2. Gearing up at 60 takes forever, and I don't like raiding. When your under geared, it's basically like being a non-twink against twinks, getting two shot easily.
3. There's more balance in the 19 bracket. (when there's 10v10 twinks, everyone's about equal geared, and it comes down to skill and strategy)
4. Once your geared, your grinding is done, and you can just pvp whenever you log on
5. At 60, seems a lot more people are interested in getting hks than playing objectives, trying to play objectives while everyone's fighting in the middle gets kind of annoying. (happens at 19 too though, just not as much)
6. At 19, there's a small community with guild rivalries and lots of shit talking on forums, makes it all more interesting.

Most of players avoid PvP, especially PvP server players. They'll get their BiS gear (like Don Julio etc.) from AV reputation. That's all about PvP for them. Farming rank 14 is another rare thing. Telling it like 'every game' is a bit overkill. There'll be tons of casuals.

More than 60 percent of my guild is still levelling. Very big percent of players won't even finish MC content after months.

This is true but revenge makes it fun. We got ganked while we were on the escort mission in Ungoro Crater a few weeks ago. We were 2, they were full party. We found 3 more people for escort quest and kicked these guys asses in their escort path. This was the most satisfying thing in my entire levelling period.

Reality is the grind for gear will most likely lead me to twinking. But it is different this time around. There is no expansion in the future to restart the gear grind at the end.

I agree with most of these, I don't agree completely with objective play, twinks these days for the most part don't care much for objectives, especially in non-timed bgs, when i flag carried on both nostalrius and elysium i would legit sit on top of tunnel for an 1-2 hours straight without getting attacked a single time because everyone was just mid fighting the whole game, that's my reasoning for not caring much for non-timed bgs, when there's time in bgs you have to care somewhat about play objectively because of the fact that there's a time limit to win, in classic/tbc since there's no time limit there's no "rush" to down efc so people generally don't care, that's personally why my favorite era of twinking is wotlk
 
Community and competitiveness are what have kept me interested in 19s. It’s a lot of fun once you get up and running
 
for me would be:

simple solution is always better than complex solution.

which is why I’d prefer lower level bgs over high level bgs. less thinking with spells and more brain power with button mashing and creating strategic tactics along with it.

Besides that, I don’t play with macros to often. From low level and even in current endgame. Why have them when you only need ~2-5 just to finish your opponent(s)?
