EU+US Important: Not being able to join the new AV

I'm not huge on the fact that they made it BFA content either but I don't understand how so many ppl think it makes no sense for it to be considered BFA content
Ive been P2P through 4 Xpacs. Now that I’m not currently P2P, does that mean I can’t celebrate an anniversary? I’ve been part of WoW’s history.
It defeats the purpose of an anniversary - everyone should have a right to participate.
I didn’t realise it was P2Celebrate these days.
I really hope it’s not as intended and just some lazy coding that gets sorted soon. :(

i don't know but what other BFA content could you do below lvl 110?
yet this event can be done by anyone lvl 10-110 only if you have BFA.
This has happened in previous expansions with any new "event" that required its own zone/instance... like the Trial of Style, for example.

Bug-reports and forums were flooded with complaints, because there was absolutely no reason to "gate" a game-wide holiday behind the latest expansion... but it was never changed because it wasn't a "bug".

That's simply how the game works. :(

I've submitted a ticket about todays BG, but it won't make a difference. The only thing that might push Blizzard to "make an exception" would be a moral outcry of sufficient mass.

You'd need to guilt them with a highly-visible 1000-post thread about the hypocrisy of "Celebrating 15 Years" when the very people that have played/payed for those 15 years can't participate if they don't cough-up extra cash for the latest expansion... or a viral #15YearSnub twitter movement, or whatever.

Tarren Mill vs Southshore and Molten Core for the 10th anniversary also required the latest expansion. It's stupid but this is Blizzard.
It is in no way stupid. This, first of all its a business, then a game. What's been done makes sense, just because you or some other portion disagree doesn't mean you are right.

Whelp.

Edit: This was on a vet account without bfa or gametime.

So, now you need BfA & an active subscription?

Edit: Nevermind, I can queue on my Inactive BfA Veteran with XPOn. Perhaps was just referring to the change in Error Message?

Yeah, this is just on a vet account without bfa.

Edit: Oh wait, my f2p still gets the same error. Lol. Nvm.

I also hope it'll be there next year ...
Or maybe it's only a "15th anniversary event" ...
Or maybe it's just a giant experimentation made by Blizzard to collect data and see how to scale properly everyone in Shadowlands, maybe leading also to scaled PvP in the future
